Welcome to the 57th Season of the Unofficial Community Awards!
I'm Ahmet Sonverdi and with me here are Jon Champion and Jim Beglin! But they have to go cos I don't have any funny stuff in my mind right now.
I'll be your host this season. It's an honor for me to be a part of this beautiful tradition and I'm glad that opportunity appeared! Even though I bitched out at first.
Anyway..
So,

First of all, I decided to bring back the "Hall of Fame" category. There were plans about it in the past seasons but seems like they ain't happening. So, ladies and gentlemen, enjoy the hall!
Secondly, I've added 2 new categories from the previous season's poll. There was a tie between 2 options so I decided to add them both. Hope you guys enjoy it :)
I didn't start a poll for the next season categories but feel free to share your thoughts about them, what should be added & removed etc.
Here are the deadlines;
March 14th - March 19th (11:59.59 CET) is the nomination stage
March 19th - March 24th (11:59.59 CET) is the final voting stage (S58, R1)

ABOUT NOMINATIONS:
- Any manager in GPRO can participate and nominate.
- You may nominate any manager, topic, post, or team for any (suitable) award, except where stated in the rules below.
- You may only nominate 1 person for each category.
- The top 3-7 people with most nominations in each category will go through and progress to the voting stage. I reserve the right to change that number in some categories though if necessary.
- You can nominate by posting in this thread with the following:
##nominate (category no.) (manager/topic/team name/etc)
, or you can pm me ( /gb/NewMail.asp?IDM=145671 ) your nominations if you have any forum restrictions & are just lazy to do it in the thread. I can post them in here.
You can denominate too.
Example: If you wanted to vote Phil as best face smasher, but later changed your mind and wanted to vote for Phel, you would type:

In a later post:
##denominate 3 Phil Maunder
##nominate 3 Phel Maundir
etc. etc.

OTHER RULES:
- You may NOT nominate yourself, your team, your teammates, your wife or husband, a post or a topic of yours, or even a topic you have the topic mod rights, in any of the categories. You cannot nominate any family teams or their members that your own team may relate to.
- Any person in GPRO aside from Toygun Senler, Tomasz Wypych, Jan Zaluski, Greg Swaney, Mikkel Bjerg, Jonathan Beagles, Keri Lovell, Mikko Suhonen, Rimantas Sagatas, Eray Alakese, Florencia Caro, Leandro Sereno, Sion Francis, Mairo Toom, Attila-Gyula Varady, Joan Centellas, Andrei Ciuchi, Jeff Garcia, Vsevolod Demydov, Mikko Heikkinen, Frederico Neves, Jonathan MacLean, Roland Postle, Phil Maunder, João Monteiro, Jukka Sireni, Kevin Abdalla, Christos Bobolis, Max Watson, Alexei Malkin, Jan Pavlicek or Kirsty Ridley may be nominated in category 15.
- You can choose to nominate in any of the categories, but you don't need to nominate in all if you don't want to.
- Public Discussion of nomination is allowed, and indeed, is actively encouraged.
- Silly game topics are nominated in their own category, so you might prefer to nominate them in category 5 rather than in categories 3 & 4.

I need to ask something, as we're just started to nominate, I'm warned that if a nomination comes (via pm) from a manager who has a forum restriction, I can post the nominations but I'm not allowed to share the name of the manager who made the nomination.
You can't be able to see who made the nomination if it comes from a banned manager. Are you guys okay with it? Because otherwise I'll not accept those nominations.
For my side, I'd like to keep them. I swear the nominations will be the same, I'm not gonna play with & add & reduce any nominations. You can trust me. But the decision is up to you.
