The cup was only ever meant as a small extra to look at and not a major competition. Associating a large financial prize with it would, more often than not, just least to those already getting high prize money for finishing high in the standings getting even more.

I would love it if they improved the cup to make it worthwhile.

Perhaps make the prizes for the teams instead of just individual? It would mean the individual who performs well in the standings doesn't get too much money for doing so well but if they're part of a team then the team benefits?

I do enjoy the cup but the last few have been horrible for me but a improvement could be done some how.
