I would love to Josh, but its not clear from the GPRM forum, where or how you can try the beta version.
Any pointers would be appreciated

It was more o a point about the game not being release, saying no one else has really attempted a version.
I i could give you any pointers on how to try the beta i would, but hiring testershas pretyt much stopped now, im hoping there will be a demo or open beta for people, but thats not got anything to do with me.

I got an email from them in mid-December saying that they'd be sending out closed-beta invitations "in the next few weeks", but I haven't heard anything since. So either I didn't get in and those that did are on an NDA so strict that they can't even say they're testing, or the invitations didn't go out yet.
If the game is genuinely deep, or offers different modes with different levels of depth, thereby pulling in both casual players and management-sim grognards then it could be bad news for GPRM as their potential market will shrink if they don't get out before the big boys.
Although I'll probably still buy it, with Quatloos, or goat spleens or whatever we're using for currency by then.
