There is a free spot at Team Resistance, a newer team to the game, but as you can see when you have a look at our managers, there is nothing new about our experience and knowledge. We are a team filled with people with experience at the highest levels of the game – Master and Elite, and managers that have been involved with top teams, coupled with a few managers that we believe have the potential to compete at the highest level.
We need a manager to fill the vacant spot in the team and we are happy to consider applicants from all levels. We are as open to taking on someone with Elite level knowledge as we are taking on someone with the potential to get there in the future, especially with our help.
Obviously we want to know more about you, what you think you can offer the team and what you hope to gain from the team and we could ask a series of questions here to find all that out, but we want managers that have a mind of their own, and because of this, we would hope you could put an application together without the need for us to give you a list of obvious questions to answer.
If you want to be part of the Resistance then tell us why. Send a PM to Guy Smets, or any member of the team.
We will not be setting a deadline at this time, as we will keep the spot open until we are confident we have the right candidate to fill it. Is that you?
If you have any questions, then please do not hesitate to ask.

Today, three time Elite Champion, Zdenek Hladik left former Team Championship winners Whiskey & Cigars - Old School.
It was reported in much of the international press that he was imminently going to join the Resistance, however, at the last minute, the sinister Jimmy De Roy kidnapped Zdenek's family and forced him to return to the evil Whiskey & Cigars or he would never see his family again.
We do not condone such actions, and our best wishes go to Zdenek and his family and hope he is at least allowed to sample some whiskey and cigars in the near future, once Jimmy has released him from the team dungeon.
His loss is your gain, however, as there is still a free spot at Team Resistance. Information is above and we await your application.

Many teams are recruiting at this time. Many teams with a history and lots of experience and knowledge.
Our team does not have history. But look at our managers. We all have experience and the knowledge you will find at many of the bigger teams.

Plenty Master and Elite level experience and as much knowledge as I think you would find in 99% of the other teams in the game.

Good evening guys, girls and the rest of you!
As mentioned, Team Resistance are recruiting. One of our group will be retiring from the game in the near future. Good news for everyone else as that means there will be a space open for you.
A look at our managers will show a great amount of experience at all levels.
A look at our team history shows we are a solid team as we all progress to (or back to!) the higher levels of the game.
A look at our team events will give you an idea of the team spirit we have. Since the team was established at the start of season 29, that's coming up for 7 seasons ago, only one member has ever left the team before now.
We have knowledge of all things GPRO to share and willing to share it with the right candidate. We have received some interesting applications so far, but recruitment is still open, so nothing is decided yet.
You don't need to know it all to join us. You do need to show you are an intelligent manager with a will to improve and a commitment to be with us for a very long time (to tell the truth, Heite will probably lock you in his dungeon for years, but is isn't all bad there - I should know :p)
If you are interested, send a PM to Guy, or any of the team, telling us more about you and why you want to join us and why we should pick you.

Unfortunately it is time to bump this thread again, although considering it's been a year and five months since last time, we can't be to down.
The evil mistress that is real life is claiming one of our members and, as such, we are now recruiting for a replacement.
We've been around since the start of season 29, and he will be only the third person to ever leave, and no one has left us since mis-season 30 for any reason but they are leaving the game altogether. You can make your own mind up what that says about our team :)
Feel free to check out the above posts for a bit more about us, or check out our team history and events. You'll notice our members include those that have and are competing at the highest level, and we've got an Elite race winning manager here too.
You'll also notice that, after the first few seasons under the point penalties, we've consistently been top 40, with only one exception, and often top 20. We don't co-ordinate our promotions, or we could have easily had some higher finishes, but we support each individual manager in their own goals.
If you are interested in joining us, drop a PM to any of us, and we'll put it up for discussion. Many teams tell you what information they want from you in an application. We would hope anyone applying to us doesn't need us to hold their hand in that way, and they can think for themselves about the impression they want to make.

If you need to be told how to apply, or what to say, then you probably shouldn't bother trying. :)
If you're a grown up, with a mind of your own, and have made the effort to check out the quality of the members we have - several with Elite experience (including winning there) - then I'm sure you know what you need to do.
