A crew of firefighters have been thanked by a farmer for saving her piglets.
Six months after they were pulled from a barn where hay had set on fire, the piglets were slaughtered and turned into sausages.
Rachel Rivers took some of the sausages to Pewsey Fire Station where they were served up on a couple of disposable barbecues.
The firefighters said that the sausages came ‘highly recommended’.
