I decided to put on the Williams FW16 livery for this race. I was following Formula 1 only for a couple of races back in 1994 and was hooked from the beginning. The Imola weekend, with Barrichello's crash on Friday, Ratzenbergers crash on Saturday and Senna's crash on Sunday made a huge impression on me.

Senna will forever remain one of my idols of Formula 1 racing, as well as his philosophy on life in general.

I use the Williams FW16 too for this race.
Imola GP of 1994 was a terrible weekend. Anyway it would be nice see the complete GP, practices, qualifying and race. Where I can see?

I'm racing with the Senna Livery tonight but would be nice to have a dual livery Senna / Ratzenberger

Or McLaren / Simtek , whichever looks best

Senna was very famous&admired in Japan:

This Capeta episode featured a nice Senna reference:

(11:10, or 14:00 for the Senna tribute)

Also, never should forget the videos of Antti Kahola:

No problem. Actually, I'd never seen that Senna tribute of Antti before.

Speaking about Senna, this tune should not be forgotten either, heard it first on the F1 1994 rFactor mod:

Hi lads.

Because it is 20 years on after the darkest day in Motorsport, I watched countless tape recordings of races I recorded back in the 1990's. I've also been racing through so many videos of Ayrton on Youtube, what a driver! I'm particularly fascinated by his methodical quotes, as most of them are meaningful and worth remembering.

I tried to find a book which contains some of his words, but to no avail. I did find a Kindle book but it is only available in Kindle form, not as a book.

Do any of you know of a paperback book which is full of Ayrton Senna Quotes?

Thanks :wavey:

Surely Google is better for finding quotes than paying even a small amount to get a "book" that is only 14 pages long, but that's just me.

I think I did this last season, only it was for Roland Ratzenberger... drove the 1994 Simtek and won the he race for him :) tomorrow will be Senna turn. Really wish I was born to see him race cause watching footage of him compared the drivers these days, he was on another planet.

Although for me it shall be the JPS lotus rather than Williams. Fitting for his first ever race victory at 1985 Portuguese gp at Estroil

I'm not a supporter so I can't use the McLaren/Williams/Simtek/Lotus. :(

I'll be using the white livery myself but it would be nice if we could have one of those four available for non-supporters. I know it's only done for special occasions and we can't make exceptions every which way, but would still be nice.

I don't always use a different livery than my team livery, but when I do, it's in honour of an F1 legend.
