At 10-4 yesterday the Ian Poulter show began. Now it's 14-13 and the Poulter show is over.

Only almost.. Amazing result against all odds. Really backward with europe losing first two days and then destroying us in the singles on away territory.

Switched on last night and was utterly amazed to see the score was 11-11, but it felt like the USA was up and would still win it. Not to be though, and a great victory for Europe.

Class by Tiger at the end after he missed his putt to win his match and make it 14-14 to concede the Molinari putt so that their match was all square and Europe actually won it outright overall.

But did anyone else think that Tiger 'missed' that final putt a little too easily, if you catch my drift :)

In his prime that would have been rammed in the back of the hole, but this season he has missed more regularly from that range so its a tough call. Lots of background noise still with 'Always look on the brightside' ringing out from somewhere and with the cup not won maybe he didn't give it his full attention. It sort of summed up a terrible 3 days for him.

If Kaymer had missed his putt and ended with a half, the stage would have been set for Tiger to have holed that put to win - might have been so different.

In was compulsive viewing for any golf fan and even some non golf fans

So gutted I did not back Europe at 7-1 when we were 10-6 down and looking handy on the scoreboard will Donald just about to level his match.

Should of went with my instinct. Oh well. Had I put it on Tiger would have put it in. lol

Great great win. What a match.

I don't think you can see a single post, let alone a chant !

Never been one for Golf to be honest, although I don't mind swinging a bat down the driving range from time to time, but I switched on last night, and watched the closing stages, and I admit it was quite exciting to watch...

Might have to watch some snooker too, I might have to give that a chance :)

Well done to the USA for picking a golf course with no rough to try and give your "Fore left" and "Fore right" hitting team a chance of winning, and then losing in a putting contest!!
How gutted they must be!!!! :D

Last night was the best sporting experience I've ever had. Like 1,000 penalty shout-outs in a row. Unbelievable! A fitting tribute to Seve.

I love the booing.

It's not booing - They're either shouting Luuuuuke for Donald or Kuuuuuuuch for Matt Kuchar.

Not sure I would've picked Westwood over Donald. Putters win Ryder cups, and Westwood's short game is only slightly better than mine :/
