Have: Honda Pilot

Want: Audi A6

Love: ??? I'm not really a car buff. Would love to get a modest Sedan, but with kids, the SUV makes more sense right now.

Drove them both today. Both come with service plans so maintenance not an issue, fuel costs (l/100km for civilised people) will be similar. Audi is a nicer place to sit, Mazda is a better drive, but neither of them make me think "this is so worth the money I just have to have it". Thanks for all the advice, fellas.

Maintenance on that Audi will skyrocket once you're off your plan. But yeah, they're super nice places to sit. I had an old A4 and I loved driving it. But, it got so GD expensive to maintain.

Have: Peugeot 3008 and Peugeot 107
Want: Mercedes E270, Mercedes ML250, Hyundai Santa Fe, Toyota Land Cruiser
Love: Peugeot 306 1.9 XLdt (First car)

Point of note: Never buy a 3008. Lovely to be inside of, lovely to drive, but will fall apart when it just glances at a pothole. So far the clutch and fly wheel has had to be replaced, syncromesh in the gearbox is starting to fail, rear sensors are failing, leather on the steering wheel is peeling off, the turbo is leaking.

And the car was built in September 2010, has 60,000 miles on it, and I've put 15,000 on them. Stuck with it for another 3 1/2 years yet though, thanks Peugeot Finance!

Have: Black Nissan 350z
Want: A not black Nissan 350z... then I'll have money for stuff other than car shampoo.
Love: BMW M3 CSL. Saw one at BMW-Welt finished with carbon fibre... damn my eyes!

More seriously, my next car will be a 370z. It's an addiction, a mid-life crisis that implies I'll kick the bucket at 50!

Have:
Triumph GT6 (1/4 life crisis car)
Mitsubishi Lancer (daily car)
Mazda CX-5 (family car)

Want (if I ever find space in garage!):
Jaguar E-Type series 3 V12 convertible British Racing Green

Love:
1966 Brabham BT19 - who said it has to be street legal!!! If money was no object, I'd buy a race track to go with it. As an Aussie, can't think of anything better than owning the only Aussie F1 car to win a championship driven by its owner!
