It's not the song lyrics from Jon Bon Jovi's "Blaze of Glory" from the Young Guns II soundtrack, per se. He used those two movie lines for the beginning of his song on the album. I know this because I listened to the CD dozens of times when portable CD players were popular.
Edit: No wait hold on, it wasn't Garrett in the movie that said that line. It was Doc (can't remember his last name, but Kiefer Sutherland plays him).
