Today was meant to be fun, not at all disrespectful.
It was respectful, and he has every right to be. What a farce these events have become. Look at Pascal`s face when they ask him about 2017 cars and tyres. Might be just me (likely is), but I read his smile as "yeah good question, shame we both know I cant answer this, but if you`d like to go on with this comedy - here`s your answer"
e - in the light of last few years` events, I actually like Lewis more and more each day. He has his own thing going and isnt afraid to show it. Whatever his baby-ish personality might throw at us, it`s still better than factory-formatted flat-packed Nico

It's on youtube already. Apparently Hamilton was paying little or no attention and waving his phone around the whole time and taking selfies etc. I'll stick the link in here.... I've not even watched it myself yet so looking forward to seeing it :)
Fans want to see the drivers, some drivers want to browse in their phones

If hes representing himself and only himself, then yes he would have every right. As he is representing and being a spokes person for a brand such as Mercedes, I would expect a bit profesionalism from him...Actualy having said that, why am I so surprised that a thick ghetto wannabe prick is acting the way the he does....you only have to switch on the news to see plenty of people just like him, sprouting the usual bull shit and telling us all how no one respects them.
As he is representing and being a spokes person for a brand such as Mercedes
This is exactly what`s killing all the fun on those events. Spokes person for Mercedes. Ok. Does Lewis` behavior actually change your perception of Mercedes brand in your mind even a tiniest bit? People make this connection really easy - Lewis drives for Mercedes, represents the brand, must act according to brand values. All good on paper in the world ruled by simple marketing rules we learned from the Book of elementary marketing rules. Except I havent even read the Book and I`ve no idea where to get one. Thank god for that, cos` for me Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton`s life habits are not connected in any way. He gets paid to drive for them cos` he`s good at driving, that helps them win and get more brand recognition, therefore theoretically selling more cars. How on earth his behavior on an extremely boring and meaningless event that is only watched be a few people with way too much time on their hands is going to influence Mercedes brand?
Zach DeLaRocha would be proud. Look at that college band fighting the power.
Seriously though, lets decide if we really want drivers with personality or drivers who are just corporate shills. I hear enough complaints about it both ways that my ears are bleeding. Or, I guess, technically my eyes. Because I'm reading them.
Also, I found a clip of drivers answering the question about next years cars honestly. And its awesome.
Judging by people's reactions to anything deviating from f1-normal, everyone either just dislikes Hamilton or happy with corporate human suits. Despite all the shouting about how bored we are.
So, now that Alonso is talking about Honda being competitive... isn't time they supplied another team on the grid? Arn't all suppliers obliged to supply two?

Mclaren won't like that.
STR would be the only viable option you'd think, don't see Sauber wanting to break ties with Ferrari or Manor wanting to break ties with Mercs.
Yeah... obviously McLaren won't like it, but regardless of whatever contract they'd like to have with Honda (sole supply) I'm pretty sure its in the rules that all suppliers are "obliged", however loosely or not that wording is, to supply at least two teams. I guess that only applies when a team is short on options (like the situation Red Bull put itself in last season).
Force India or Williams? I say that cos they probably can't keep on forever afford Merc engines with their budget. Unless things change soon and the money is shared out better.
Btw, what could possibly be a reason for a team to want a honda engine now? No manufacturer-status like McLaren has, and a terrible engine to begin with, now that Renault appears to find their groove. So why bother?
