My username in-game is FastFrosty. Started 3 days ago and I've got to L18 with a bit of money invested into it to get a good hangar.

Does anyone else play?

I don't care if you stay :D

It's just there's not much sense of community there so I was hoping to get some discussion going about the game so the GPRO presence becomes strong on that game! (although with 20mil users and massive communities I doubt we can do it)

Some advice.

Never charge at the opponents. The goal is to hold beacons, hit opponents, hide behind objects until your weapons charge up, and then go for the kills :D

This tactic wins you silver & gold, which is important for new bot purchases and weapon upgrades!

This is my current setup. I'm about to hit L20 and actually the game starts to unlock clan features as you level up. Smart idea as it prevents noobs spamming applications and mailboxes and requires a bit of dedication before getting there...

I'm running 2 brawlers and 1 beacon catcher and alternate between which strategy I choose depending on the map. I've invested a bit of cash into the game and read a lot of guides and so I am just trying to max out my resources with 3 slots in the hangar before moving to 4 and facing the new opposition. This is to prevent getting slaughtered with ineffective bots. I think this strategy is a bit of a fast route but then again I'm only going off what people are saying across the internet.

I only hope some others who are better than me play as well...:)

See,thats why i try to avoid mobile app games. There is always that incentive to break out the wallet ,and the more immersed in a game i am the easier it is to justify spending..

That's the only way forward for these developers I guess, but this is set up in a way where you face opposition equal to what you have. So if you invest money and buy a strong robot, you will more than likely lose against stronger robots whereas the non-spender will win matches and catch up. It's more or less an investment to see more of the game than anything else

I just feel like if i spend 10, someone else will spend 20 and render my investment useless until i spend 30,and while i play pissing contest with cash some dude is laughing his way to the bank.

I dont know man its all optional, and if something is so fun like this is, i will try to share it around and get better at it with friends, which is possible without spending in the game. :D

I guess they are millionnaires by now, but they built a very engaging game which is hard to do these days 😎
