sorry to spoil the fun... regardless of this nonsense thread, I believe any kind of humour around such subjects to be vulgar and very much a kick in the teeth to any victims of such abuse. but I guess you are all adults and if you can make jokes about such horrible things maybe society will eventually turn a blind eye to these horrors, if that's your goal? lets face it the police are too busy dealing with alcohol fueled idiots on weekends encouraged by the government, than wasting time with real victims of what they like to palm of as "domestics".. oh yeah, if hell existed, you're all going there=)

Politics & Religion, I think I ticked both boxes. but if these are no no, why the hell are topics making light of abuse ok?

Nah, a sense of humour and intelligence are not mutually exclusive. But how would you know?

You can't explain what's funny about anything. This wasn't even about child abuse by the way, just a few posts in this topic that took that twist.

I'd put it down to cultural differences (can't even say the f-word on British television.. lol) but then this topic was started and dominated by Englishmen so it can't be that. But if you think laughing about sex offenders is wrong... you are cordially invited to stay away from it.

Ummm.... not actually true. But I do not disagree with the rest of what you said Jasper

Many stand-up comedians make jokes about sex offenders and many people laugh at them. That does not mean that they condone what sex offenders do :-)

For me I picture a sex offender driving a FSO Polinez, or a Reliant Kitten or a Citroen BX. But perhaps that's just the men that lived on my street.
i have a classic 1990 citroen BX 1.9 gti i am certainly not a sex offender i find this to be quite offending

That's exactly the sort of thing a sex offender would say
