There are only two good ones, the F1 2016 and upcoming series and iRacing.

I haven't played the old ones, played from 2009, did enjoyed it, but I like 2016 alot, due to voice controlls, tyre marking and stuff, looks more realistic :]

You must be young, the most realistic "sim" must be Geoff Crammand grand prix 2,3 and 4. I have played racing games for over 20 years and none have come close to the realism of that game/games

I still happen to think Grand Prix World is the best ever F1 game. I mean, in terms of a properly endorsed product, it's the best ever manager game at the very least, and the one I kept coming back to more than any other (and more than any sim that's been released). The series of F1 sim racers they put out on repeat every year have no novelty to them whatsoever. Maybe the 09 one that Sam mentioned cos they did'nt put it out on any decent console, so it looked amazing on the crap that they did put it out on :)
The rest of them, well, you kinda feel like you may as well have just bought last year's one for a fiver from the trade-in bay (or e-bay) right? It's probably better to always be a year behind when it comes to buying the official sim. Why spend £250 over five years when you can spend only £25 and only be a year behind. Meh, maybe it's just might tight wallet logic :)

I would recommend waiting for a new one + I know where u can get Steam key's most of the games 50% cheeper than on steam. F1 2017 will be released this month, so if it will be good, I recommend getting it :]
P.S. I used to pirate games myself, but after buying few of them I realised, that most of the bugs and s**** which are happening with the game are most of the time foult of the crack. And "stupid" people who pirate the game write about it in official forums and cry about it, dev's without knowing that are trying to fix non-existant problem which is coused by a 3rd party crack ... P.P.S. I don't buy games on full price, I wait till discount or try to find as cheaper solution as possible if I want to get it fast :] For example I know where u can get F1 2017 pre-order special edition(LEGIT,TRUSTED) on 35 euros, while the same game on steam pre-order cost's 55 euros :]
