I hope it's not FOBY mentioning that you should first ensure you have optimal wing setting before you worry about split.

Your settings for wings are pretty close to the extremities, so this is not unusual.
i've never had that before in other cases where wings are on there limits :S do you just mean when the wings are very high? or on the limits of the drivers happy range?
Very close to 999.

Yep, there's too many different factors that can influence them, although a list can give you a good starting point if you don't know how to figure them out by yourself.

What ever happened to allowing people to find things out by themselves.
Testing etc.
Yet it seems many people just wanna hand it out on a plate pretty much.

The trouble is, if you're just given a list it's not a starting point, it becomes an end point if you just take it as gospel.

There seems to be a few people who want to "showcase their knowledge"
and what's even more disturbing is that often it's not even "their" knowledge, but instead knowledge aquired by the team.
