btw I don't agree with Alex at all that this game was broken. He played it awfully which is why he lost imo. Was under suspicion on day 1 and almost lynched, no amount of night kills can protect you if you play so poorly that you are almost uncovered in day 1. Then his night kill was on the wrong person. I like to try and guess the contents of the mail before I read them, see if I can read what people are doing, and whoever was the Doctor, protecting Jonathan was so obvious.

Although I concede that Alex knew he was sniper, he told me so when he sent me the PM, there was no way he would have been more than a one off shot. Just totally imbalances the game. The way you played on day 2 did you no favours either. Basically you were lynched totally off of the back of your own (lack of) efforts. If you played the game well you could have been well in with a chance of convincing the town that either Daryl or Matt was who they should be aiming for.

It still doesn't change the fact that no matter how well I would have played I would have only survived only one extra day after the mass roleclaim (it came as a 3-way between me, matt and daryl, which were the only ones without confirmed roles: even if I were the last one to be suspected, they would have investigated one and killed the other thus leaving only me for day 3). This, sadly, is fact...

By the way, while waiting for the other game to end, would anyone be interested in hosting a dethy game?

I would love a dethy game...

Looks right. It's 13 for you as the cop investigation points are for finding a scum.

The fact remains that when doing nothing to help yourself and coming under suspicion as a scum on the first day shows that you didn't play the best of games. There were any number of things you could have tried to do including counter-claiming as a cop and trying to get someone on side with you saying you investigated them as town.

Any number of things.

I will not argue with you about the quality of my play. It is irrelevant, if you want I will grant you that I might have played badly. The fact remains that no matter what had I done I would have lost after the mass roleclaim. Counter-claiming the cop you say?!?!?! Lol... the best case scenario is that I could "clear" somebody and managed to get Patrick lynched. I would have been dead the next day, after the flavor text stating he was the true cop... come on, that would have been the dumbest thing to do actually...

I'm going to have to agree with Alex here..the quality of his play really was irrelevant. Once Jonathan picked off Aleksej, he really didn't have much of a chance.

Life in the trenches was getting onto everyone's nerves. People were coming paranoid about enemy infiltrators.

Just yesterday, one of their own boys had died by the hand of his fellow soldiers. The same almost happened again to Patrick Murphy, but the situation got solved after he produced proof of his identity.

Along the trenches, the men had assembled fake dummies to draw fire from enemy snipers. They were lousy company because they couldn't speak.

However, one of the dummies caught the attention of the men, since it seemed to have moved several times during the day. Nobody admitted to moving it, so they stabbed it with a bayonet - and then there was blood and guts all over the place.

Alexandru Cristescu, Enemy Infiltrator Dummy, has been lynched on Day 2!

Good enough? ;D

Oh and given the shambles of the MVP voting in the last game I think it should be assigned by whoever is the GM for the game. For this game it will go to Toni Metsänkylä for his high activity level, good suspicions and successful protection of a townie player.

5 players - 4 cops, 1 scum. There's one sane cop, one insane, one paranoid and one naive. They don't know their own sanity. Scum pretends to be a cop. Game begins on night 0 when everyone can make an investigation. After that day 1 starts. Those games are always extreme fun.
