As much as I love DeRozan, Mills and Gay, I think it was time we cleared out the old, and rebuild with the new.

I know the feels, as a casual Raptors fan I’ve never been that impressed by Siakam and I reckon a decent package could be acquired for him in a trade seeing as we are in rebuild mode..but others say different and tbf can’t say I watch all the games.

Very intrigued to see how LeBron and Westbrook co-exist

Siakam played off Kawhi well as an outlet when he drew defenders to him. Not very impressive as a #1 threat.

struggled in the miami bubble and in Tampa last season. Maybe just misses home.

gary Trent jr was a great trade for Powell. lots of upside there. Lowry for Precious and Dragic was a great trade even if it means flipping Dragic to someone else for more players

scottie Barnes and other youngsters looks good in summer league.

Scottie Barnes does look very promising, and I’ve heard Malachi Flynn isn’t doing too badly either? Would explain why one of the PGs weren’t drafted. Dragic can certainly do one after his comments the other day lol

Malachi started slow last season, but hard to get playing time with Kyle and Freddy blocking up the PG position. Looked good in the stretch when Kyle didn't play much and is playing great in summer league play

He has learnt a ton from Freddy

I like Freddie Gillespie too (crazy eyes) and Khem Birch is solid. Raptors have a good core of young uns to build around.

Biggest issue was finding a big man that plays to the Raptors style. Baynes was not it, and biggest error was lowballing Ibaka instead of letting Gasol walk and throwing money at Serge

The Pacers GM for trading brodgon for a bag of chips, and the Wolves GM for putting together Gobert and KAT, they cant play together, it will be a disaster, theyre unable to guard outside players.

I cant believe how sometimes NBA franchises staff are so noob.

Why they offer Zion so huge contract by not even having him on the court? Doesn't make sense. Also why Jokic got so huge contract - his chances to get Title at Denver are now much lower then before as they can't attract other players because Cap space.

Bucks - Goldenstate in Finals next year?
Okey - if Durant goes to Suns, maybe Suns also

The big thing for Wemby is going to be can he stay injury free in the NBA with his build? Chet Holmgren has spent his entire first season out and has a similar build. If he can stay healthy, he's got MVP all over his future.

I'm interested to see what happens at 2 and 3. Do the Blazers trade #3 to get Dame some help? Do the Hornets go Scoot or Brandon Miller at #2? Both have top tier PGs but Scoot falling anywhere past 3 is surely not going to happen? Houston will be all over him at #4 if he's still there.

One can only hope. First season will never be anything spectacular and will be a learning curve, but with KJ, Tre Jones, Sochan and others, I have faith in the future of our Spurs!

Just started looking through the forums and found this thread! I'm a Memphis fan and I'm shocked we just picked up D Rose. It's a real shame what happened to him with his injury but he's a fantastic guy to have as a role model for our younger guys and a good replacement for Tyus Jones. Gonna be huge to have Steven Adams and Brandon Clarke back next season from injury plus our draft picks look pretty solid. Exciting season coming up for the Grizzlies :)

The Grizzlies' success depends too much on Morant's performance. If the team can take the next step in this regard, Memphis can also play for rings.

Unfortunately, Derrick is not the necessary link that would raise the team's performance.

Grizzlies will be there or thereabouts. Marcus Smart was a smart ( ;) ) pickup and their core from last year remains. Getting Adams back to dominate the boards can only help them too. The big thing is Morant. How will they fare in the 25 games he misses and will he keep his nose clean when back? And regardless of what happens, they no longer have Dillon Brooks, so that's an automatic win. Guy's a dick!

I don't think the Grizzlies have or will have the winning instinct needed to ever win it all. If a guy can't even stop himself from waving guns around on social media how will he have the discipline to train, practice, and play the way he needs to to lead?

The Summer League debut by this Grizzlies bench was wonderful, great comeback win. Some of the guys we picked up are looking promising and our second year players are progressing very well. Very excited to see Kenneth Lofton Jr. get some playtime. Surely he does with the Morant suspension and with it being his first full season on an NBA contract. It'll be interesting to see some of these other teams draft picks play in Summer League.
