It actually is there, but currently only to full zoom with 0,5x car size mode, and you need to hit quite center of the car.

Cool, found it. :) Might be worth making the clickable zone a bit larger because it seems like not many found that so far.
On another note, I noticed something about the slowness in Firefox I mentioned yesterday. It gets a LOT worse as soon as I have the side panel with the gaps or laptimes open.
I just watched two laps of my race, at speed 1, full zoom level, locate my car, half car size, and used a stopwatch to see how long it actually takes to play on my screen:
Lap 2 (no side panels): my laptime 1:23.916, actual time 1:57.2
Lap 3 (gap list open): my laptime 1:24.377, actual time 4:06.7 (for that lap only, not cumulative)
No idea if this is of any help to you, just saying.
(and what's also funny: in new viewer my laptime for lap 2 is 1:23.916, in old viewer and in Race Analysis it's 1:23.917; the times for lap 3 are all the same)
Late edit: may be worth mentioning I was accidentally running laptop on battery with a lower power setting, I can repeat the test at full power if you want

Now it's possible with all sizes, though obviously with small cars you need to be very accurate even with slightly increased click area.
About your lap 2, blame Vlad.

What would you like to see instead?
I changed the steps a bit, so now it shouldn't fall behind. It doesn't refresh any more often, so if the image quality is bad, I have little answers.

Hi Jukka,
I was wondering if I could make a suggestion as to the possibility, of having a separator for the TEAM CHAT during the live race screen, placing it for example; next to the TV, or zooms separators.
Functioning in a way that it would “ blink “ when a teammate spoke, then allowing us to click on the “ blinking “ separator, answer the teammate, and then get straight back to the live race screen, without missing too much action.
This because the new live race screen does not give us the means to do so, and we have to do it with separate screens.
I, in the meantime, congratulate you and all that are involved with this new live race screen. Awesome, getting better all the time.

1) I'm not actually some watchdog :)
2) Some things can actually be beneficial
Like in this case Tomas' chat idea is worth looking into. IMO it's not probably the highest priority, the viewer and it's general functions come first. That said, chat is worth looking into as kind'a "extra function". (at some point)

Yeah! Mikko, I quite agree with you that first things come first, no doubt about that.
But this Team Race chat issue should later, add to an even better live race screen, making all the more complete. Once priorities have been met.

Hi,
Is there anyone who buys something without seeing?
Let a player test/watch the live race screen, and if it's really interesting it will be a way to secure more supporters.
I do not understand marketing, but I think there's some reason for my comment.

It's in beta testing, so it is not ready for everyone to use. If you want a sneak peak or to help with the debugging, you can buy a few credits. If not then you will have to wait until the new race screen is available to all (if the admins decided to give it to all for free)

Watching today the replay i saw that in the standings tab are empty the columns: position, tyres and nation. Furthermore the manager of a selected car is no longer highlighted in the standing tab. Maybe are regressions caused by other upgrades?

It is currently being tested so it can be finalised before being released as a marketing tool. There have been dozens of changes already since beta release in race 1 so it's still definitely work in progress. Like Michael said in the post you quoted, if you would like to help with debugging then cough up a few euros. If not, wait until it is officially released :)

Guys how many times does it have to be said? The live race screen is still in the testing and development phase.
If you are so desperate to see what everyone is talking about then buy some supporter credits and check it out.
