I always wondered what your anthems have for lyrics. Here's mine :)
O say can you see by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;

On the shore dimly seen through the mists of the deep,

After a session with 3 races with wrong pit stop strategies and amount of fuel I thought that Estoril was to be another race to forget.
I guess the right setup correction for the rain made the difference.
On the next race, Oesterreichring GP, I don't predict the rain to be a major problem.
Congrats to Chric Carbia who is dominating the season. Raemisch is well placed to be in 2nd place. There will be a hard battle for the remaining 2 promotions spots, as Alexandre Lima and Attila Szabó are negative, Petrov and Jakó are next on the line and Victor Neves is doing an explendid start, despite starting only on race 6.
I'll keep developing my driver in order to have a chance to get a promotion next season.

It was curious to see that USA's anthem is much more descriptive than the portuguese's. Our is simplier and more sea oriented:
Heroes of the sea, noble people,
Brave and immortal nation,
Raise once again today,
The splendor of Portugal!
Among the haze of memory,
Oh Fatherland, one feels the voice
Of your distinguished forefathers,
That shall lead you to victory!

I agree Bernardus, good review of the group :)
If I was better at my strategy I might have been closer to Chric, and this wet weather killed any hopes of fighting for it. I didn't expect it to rain as much as it did!
Goodluck Bernardus, hopefully it will work for you! I think you have the shortened version of your anthem, there is a much longer one.
You know the history behind it? I like the music! Can feel the pride even without the lyrics.
The Star Spangled Banner lyrics were written during an English attack on Ft. McHenry.

I just noticed that the music that appears in the last lap is in fact a national anthem! lol
You are right Raemisch. I (and the majority of the population) only know this first part. Do american also know only a part of theirs?
How the things are going, I won't hear the Portuguese national anthem in GPRO this season. If I can successfully nerf my driver in the last race, I might have a chance next season to hear it. In the other hand, I'm starting to know by heart the Argentinean anthem...
I believe the history behind our national anthem isn't very meaningful. Summing up, our beloved allies (England) issued an ultimatum on us (Portugal). We didn't like it, so in the next day it was composed and after some time it was sang by various armed groups that rebelled against our monarchy.

That's an interesting season so far. There's some competition for the promotion places, with the top8 players in position to grab the promotion. Will having the extra money make the difference in the final 4 races?
I managed to get the 1st place, but in order to carry some gold for the next season I've been loosing many points and now I'm just 8 points away from the 5th place.

Defect with which I am not able to come into the pits and finish the race ??? A little embarrassing. If he shows me a better result, immediately unplanned stop, fault .... I do not know why yet here I give money without comment.

You should not be money, and the best pilot. Himself car will definitely affect the speed. But in this game makes all Rookie pilot.
