YOu know what's really funny and sad for Felipe Nasr? He'd have probably more chance of a seat in F1 next season if he hadn't scored 2 points in Brazil last week and cost Manor 30m :) Nasr has basically ended his F1 career with that good result :p

In simple terms, If you have 250 left at the final race, you carry forward 187, not 150.
BTW, I've decided to clearly define what happens when the term 'Extra Soft' is used - because people used this in the beta season.

It's added to next season's money. So, if your constructor money for the following season was 600, you'd have 800 in total to start.

If you had 280 Σ, you wouldn't carry forward 210 because the limit is 200.

Well, technically, if you save 267, with tax, that's 200. So, in other words, don't bother saving over 267. Or did I get that wrong?

I think it'll be quite unlikely somebody will save over 267 anyway. Because of the tax, most will probably go all in in the last race anyway.

Well yes, it makes more sense to either spend it on the race or your staff. Though obviously not everyone can win the race or get the best staff gains. The cash limit/tax is just there to make it less straight forward to simply just take the easy money save option and banzai the next season, same reason for driver targets :)
