Hi,
this might be just me but my car came into the pits with 6% fuel and 21% tyres and pitted, i had worked out i could do 25/26 laps but it pitted after just 22.
Its not a big difference but i thought you put in the fuel you wanted to run and pitted at 0%.
why would it pit earlier there was no tech fault it just pitted?

so if the boost laps affect the fuel how do you do strategies?
in the last race i set my fuel to last a number of laps and it did, this race though i stopped 6 laps early.
The rain had stopped but it stopped many laps earlier.
weirdly then all the other drivers pitted too on the last 2 laps like it was trying to give me back the positions, lol.
just found it odd as normally i run 0% of fuel before pitting.

Check out your race analysis after the race is updated. It will tell you the reason why you entered pit lane.

i pitted when it dried but it pitted me again later in the race earlier than it should have, it also pitted nearly all cars 2 laps from the end.

i pitted when it dried then again later which is the one i'm asking about? if its not showing on the analysis could it have been a bug?

Quote ( Dan Tyler @ March 31st 2020,21:52:40 ) ok ive looked at the analysis and it only shows 1 pit stop? You looked at the analysis from last race (Sochi). You need to wait for the post race update to complete before you can see the new one.

Any case, wait for the race analysis and check.

That's your previous race in Sochi, Dan. Race analysis for Slovakiaring will be available after the race update.

The race hasn't been updated yet. You are probably looking at Sochi's analysis. Just wait a couple of minutes.

That analysis is the race before, the analysis has not been published yet, it will be there after race update :)

lol. i saw that just as i posted it,lol
yes the fuel stint was shorter and i prob would have needed to pit but it didnt run me out of fuel or wear down my tyres hence it pitted me earlier.
Then 2 laps from the end all cars pitted like it was giving me back places, its odd.

It's not so odd in these kind of conditions. Making strategies isn't quite as straightforward as in a "regular" dry race, so things tend to happen in these... Specially in rookie :)
When you get to amateur (and above) people tend to have more experience and such events are less common, but still do happen

ok so it says puncture but it didn't say anything during the race on screen, i had tech problems before and it has always told me on screen, lol
never mind, just weird that all cars pitted ahead of me to give me back spots like it felt sorry for me,lol

GPRO's own Murray Walker equivalent doesn't always see things :D
