I was also planning long term but I decided to adapt myself to the group level and race for promo...

To be honest, I'm gutted!
I did the last race, as with the previous 7, on zero risks and hard tyres and bloody won it! What the hell are you guys doing? I'm tempted to do the last race at proper speed to demonstrate what I've been holding back......
I've never been successful in Pro and I don't expect to be this time either. I will just grab a cheap TD and test most races. I'll pick a driver to relegate with around race 12 and come back to Amateur with a monster car.
Good luck to all staying in A1, next season will be a nightmare unless someone is prepared to promote....

Good luck, sure one day you will make it in Pro.
I'm for sure going for promotion next season. I had to compromise a lot of races this season with extra pit stops to stay away from top positions.

Congrats on the win Elmo :-)
The price of running a downgraded car and driver at that speed was a total loss of energy at lap 57. I didn't expect a 2 second drop in performance, perhaps if I hadn't tried to show off I could have still taken it but we live and learn eh?
I'm off to run at the back of whatever Pro group they put me in whilst you guys get to play properly.

Dear Wayne, if you already got to play properly you would have easily managed to avoid promotion. So the answers are two: whether you can't play properly or it's not true you always had 0 ct risks. Bye bye....

Thank you for the benefit of your vast experience Simone. Fortunately my ambition doesn't end with a single promotion and 11 seasons in Amateur.
I set out for a very quiet season but my team became involved in the Team Cup so I pushed hard for the first 7 races. This left me with an inflated package for Amateur which I tried to downgrade slowly without losing Sponsor progress. I misjudged this slightly and was further stymied by the reluctance/incompetence of such as you who were claiming to be not looking to promote.
I'm not sure where I aroused your displeasure, perhaps you were actually struggling to promote and choosing "Force to the front" in the final race was not the best idea....

Hi Elmo, I don't know, that is out of my will.. I'm so incompetent at this game that I don't even know what promotion means. I know one thing: if I'm going to promote I'm not going to relegate after one season as the incredible experienced managers we used to read here always do. I think actually I'm not gonna relegate ever, and that is by far better than going up and down and pretend to be going 0 clear track risks, waste money, and then insult the others for not being at their highness.

Thanks Wayne. You know this group, you don't have to push too hard. I'll try do 15-16 podiums, last race will be in preperation of re-sign next season.

You know, Elmo, there's somebody here who also have something else to do in their life except passing their time here to be the best as you do. For example, I've got a life, a job, a family, some friends, a real car, and several other things to think about. It is likely that you have those things too, but it seems like you prefer to stay here instead!! Well you are free to do it, but I don't just waste two hours and six connections per day for this silly game here as you do. But you are the best now! Congrats, you really spent your time in the best way!! Oh if you have some more time that you don't know how to pass just follow this group here for your whole life, please!!

Not sure if anyone really cares, :P. But i want to retire this season. I started playing because i thought this would be fun, but after 10 season it's been nothing but a complete struggle all 10 seasons.
I just don't see the point in playing this when i'm not having fun, i mean, after 10 seasons my best result is 5th in amateur and a couple of wins in rookie.
