Looking like a great contest in Rookie 131 this season, much harder to promote than last season! For anyone keeping tabs on me, I've now more or less secured survival in Amateur 39, so if anyone wants to join me for season 16, PM an admin and see if something can be arranged :)

Yeah there's at least 7 of us gunning for promotion although 2 have ruled themselves out.. ;)
But that leaves 5 and only 4 can promote, so it's gonna be heartbreak for that person... God I hope it not me!

I just woke up that my money levels are really poor, and saving now doesn't help anymore. But, i'm not gonna give my promotion away from my first full season. Prracticing in amateur.. ;D
But hey Atkins, your money seems to be really high, your driver sucks but you still rock in results, how that is possible? Unbelievable manager ;D

Yeah it's been tough to manage money - the key is risks. High risks (around 25+) adds lots of wear. I used the exact same car for the first 3 races, no update car whatsoever.
Therefore I've used only zero risks in all races except Hungary GP (2nd place) and the last GP in the US (1st). I managed to win at Paul Ricard with zero risks which was a miracle!
My driver's stats overall is 90, but as I'm sure most of the top drivers in our league are also, most of that OVR is motivation.
All I'll say about my driver is that all his stats are "in the right places." In other words, none of it is wasted on things that I don't need.
But that might not be so helpful in Amateur.
To be honest Jarno (or Japa :P ) I've admired your management this season, from how you've kept your money at a decent level through most of the season, to how you manage to 'go longer' than most people during a race - without being slow!
In fact, it's because of your long 2 stop strategies in past races that has made me do the same recently. Because of my strategy at Laguna Seca, I was able to beat Rui Duarte despite not being as quick as him during the race.

Well I hope you try to promote, because it's possible to save money in Amateur - plus I would love to carry on the title race with you :)

Seems that all the qualifiers to Amateur has been found, as Banzar didn't participate todays race.
Well, at least we have good battle against Geoff. I'm gonna put everything in stake in last race for the championship ;D

Yeah, my engine downgrade gave some points, and seems that i still need to save, so this championship might end up to Geoff.
But what a fight it will be, tried to push too hard in qualification, my driver seems to suck in that, dammit..

Roger started his route to amateur 7 races from the end, but proved to be quicker than everyone else a lot of times. Panos also gave a pretty tight fight and he deserves the 4th position.
Next season the title contenders aren't as many, but there are always surprises ;) Keep visiting us, guys, and good luck for Amateur!

Thanks to Jarno for being such a tough competitor - His long strategy today meant that I couldn't keep still all night as I was scared of a possible 1 stop! I guess I was lucky in the end.
Also congrats to Panos and Roger who were by far the quickest overall in the second half of the season - their promotions are fully deserved too. Roger has been very good strategic-ly all season - although I'm happy to boast that I beat him with strategy tonight :P

Yes of course :) I'll need to keep an eye on this group obviously from a Master Race perspective as well as the fact that this is 'my' group! It's like a second home haha :D

Best man won this season.
Roger and Panos where amazing also whole second half of the season, and they deserve promotions also.
If you guys would have started pushing earlier, you could have been won the championship.
Without you this game wouldnt be playable..

It was a great season.
It was quite better for me than the last year but I have some problem to get better. I hope I can compete for the promotion the next season !

yeah, my comeback race didn't go all that well :) wrong tyre choice and miscalculated the fuel.. would have been around 5th to 7th. Well.. I hope we're in for an exciting season. best of luck to all(well not really :D)!

Waoooo my first win in GPRO.
I think that my strategy was really good !!! My driver did a great job and I was lucky enough that Rui had one more pitstop to do !!!

AT lap 74? Bad luck, that's what it was. I got stuck behind slow cars everytime I left the pits and my pitstops took the longest! I could have won... but bad luck happens. Congrats Yannick. You're proving hard to beat ;)

yeah good luck to you all battling for it, looks interesting enough. i messed up my chances by bad tactics(read: extra pitstop) in seven of the first nine races.. probably lost about 20-25 points atleast :(

I am still looking for a win! I want to win a race, but Akimov keeps his brilliance when it comes to 1 stop strats. Very good really.
I'll be fighting, under tight budget ;) Let's hope I can distance from George and keep Julian and Akimov far...

Congratulation Mikhail (late bloomer it seems) - especially on beating me to the cup :)

I also tried my hand in 1 stop as well (not that good it would seem).
