True. Unless we have a lot of Borat fans. Is there even room in Kazakhstan for a racetrack?
I thought it was a big country.

Space is one of the few things they have. It's a pretty big country and not very populated. Dont know if the terrain is that appropriate tho

At Katsergiene?
Yes, what's wrong with it?
I believe country who actually made big impact on this game should be worth at least that. :P

Just Googled it. My geography is bad.
Lukas, I'm just saying that Wikipedia thinks of Katsergiene as a terrible track. I wouldn't mind a race in Lithuania. In fact, I wouldn't mind a race at Katsergiene to tell you the truth. The thing is, I don't want people to say that we're racing at a landfill if that's how bad the track is (I've never been, so I wouldn't know).

As for the Polish track, I'm unsure why the admins have allowed themselves into being bullied into including it. I am pretty sure nobody has bullied the Admins into adding it.
I personally am very suprised to see the track added. Gotta be the least known track of all in GPRO...

I think at some point, all of the FIA graded tracks will end up in this game. Seems pretty standard that 1 new track is added into the mix every season. The worst thing that can (and already has) happen is that the game becomes stagnant. So adding new tracks every season does to an extent help prolong the longevity of the game.

4. How can you not like Monaco?
It's too freaking narrow, so no chance to overtake. And if you start on pole, you're likely to win that race. Nothing interesting about Monaco then.

I like to announce the official S18 calendar:
5. Paul Ricard (France) 8. Zandvoort (Netherlands) 9. Brands Hatch (United Kingdom) 16. Laguna Seca (United States)
What these are doing every season in GPRO? Just, take them off..

There is a good chance to play and collect some trains in Monaco, so you can get some advantage by using strategy, not only by overtaking with high risks.

No big deal, but Poznan is the 4th race of the season and it would be better to know this track attributes before the end of season. :-)
I'm sure they just forgot about it and we'll have today or after the next race. :)

As I know Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit is a street circuit too.
Actually it's a park circuitQuote ( Santtu Sara @ December 6th 2009,01:09:47 )
I thought it was a big country.
Kazakhstan is a massive country (it's 3 times the size of Turkey).

Half of the calender is pretty much season 16 all over again.

Just wondering if that's really fair ?
Some people will be able to make a last time bid way more easily than others depending on their timezones. Asia and Oceania will probably be disadvantaged the most.
Am I the only one to think that way?

but this isn't very good date for first market decision :P Quote ( Stefan Voggenreither @ December 5th 2009,15:42:38 )
This was of course also heavily discussed within the admins and I can already say that we will have a solution for it. ;-)
Hold on everyone, I think we missed a big clue to a future change here. Reading between the lines a little we at least won't be able to see current offers for the drivers or maybe a complete overhaul of contract negotiation?
I think not being able to see current offers would be a really positive change, it's the way it would be in the real world.

I think not being able to see current offers would be a really positive change Which will raise the driver's salarys even more, exactly what the staff wants.
|
|
|
But will shift the bias away from people geographically positioned to bid at the optimum time.
|
|
|
I'm happy I have a good driver under contract so I don't need to worry about whatever evil scheme they've come up with!

But will shift the bias away from people geographically positioned to bid at the optimum time Everyone can surely be online at the optimum time once in a while, it's not like you're bidding for drivers every other week.

How many different kind of tracks are there? You can't really say that a "park circuit" exist, even though there's park there. That would mean that Monaco is marina circuit? No, they're both street circuits since ordinary streets are used for the racing.

Well parts of the Melbourne track are specially made for the circuit around the pits whereas Monaco is purely roads through a town.
