The perfect driver for Renault now would be Anthony Davidson.
a.k.a. Anthony Hamilton :D but me like him ;)
Hulk if I would be asked. Heidfeld is a good driver, but a bit boring to watch IMO :p

According to Boullier, either Senna, Liuzzi or Heidfeld will take Kubica's place for this season. If they're smart enough, they'll take the right guy, which is Nick.
I agree why waste money to bring in a new driver when they have Nick that is fully capable to take the roll as number one driver

They don't have Nick

Anthony is already contracted at Peaugout for next season... (I know thats spelt wrong.) and he loves LM racing too. Although I'd love to see him in F1 again, as he's a seriously underrated driver, he wont' take Kubica's place.
They should stick Senna in, and if Petrov owns him then we know he's rubbish.

|
|
I have Nick in my team though [/off topic]
I would like to have Senna, Hulk or Heidfeld driving
Senna for the same reason as Louis and the other too if they want good results :)

Atleast use the people youre paying.
:/
You think they pay something to Fauzy? Tung? Charouz? I doubt that...
(still believe Lotus is forcing Renault to use Senna, though... so Bahar can tell everybody that Senna is racing for Lotus again!!! - hope that I'm wrong and Liuzzi/Heidfeld gets the drive)
|
|
|
Senna! Lets see what is he capable.
|
|
|
We'll see that this very week in Jerez. Senna will have the wheel. They see what he can do and decide. Simple like that. After all, Kubica has at least two other surgeries scheduled according to the docs.
I hope him the best, but someone can seriously see him driving the later half of this season even? OK, he can be driving, but I'm talking about REAL driving, top 10 level? Nay, unfortunatelly.

I find the "This car goes very fast" very amusing on the Hispania, as the chances of it going very fast are very low.
If Renault really want publicity, then sign Danica Patrick. That would get a lot of attention.

GTFO unless you actually know what you're talking about.
The Hispania will still hit 200 mph... and I'd class that as fast eh?
It'll still hit 170+ on every track, so I'd class the chances of it going very fast as being certain.

Ive never rated Heidfeld.
Quote ( Tom Parker @ February 9th 2011,17:28:13 )
Heidfeld is shit. End of.
Your idioticy is beyond me.
He beat Raikkonen in 2001 He beat Massa in 2002 He beat Webber in 2005 He beat Kubica in 2007 and 2009
Nick is better than you think.

He beat Raikkonen in 2001 He beat Massa in 2002 Both times they were rookies. Raikkonen had about 20 race car starts before F1 so you cannot make a comparison.
Massa was also a rookie and lets face it, he isnt the best driver in the world anyway so a rookie massa wouldve been even worse.
Webber 05 because Webber is also crap.
Kubica in 07 because Kubica is a rookie technically still and 09 I see no podiums for Nick except that farce of a Malaysian GP whilst Kubica shouldve got 2nd in Aus (some say he couldve even won) and got 2nd in Brazil. Without the crash I think Kubica wouldve beaten Heidfeld.
So yh, bring it 8-|
Edit: Oh look, Kubica would have destroyed Heidfeld had Vettel not pwned him in Australia. Aint that funny?

GTFO unless you actually know what you're talking about.
its fast compared to a nissan micra
its slow compared to a redbull/ferrari/mclaren
it will hit 200mph but their average speed is slow over a course of a grand prix.

True, but he didn't exactly say that tbh.
I was just being pedantic, cos i'm a troll like that really.

Rookie.
Hamilton was a Rookie in 2007, wasn't he? :P
Quote ( Louis Francis @ February 9th 2011,23:45:18 )
Kubica Rookie.
Kubica wasn't a Rookie in 2007 anymore. Read post 1044
Quote ( Jonathan Seifort @ February 9th 2011,17:50:53 )
In 2006 Kubica had a year of experience with BMW as a test driver, and drove the final 6 Gp's as Villenueve's replacement. He wasn't a rookie in 2007 anymore.

What if full points were awarded in Malaysia? Nick would have destroyed Kubica. What if Sutil hadn't taken Heidfeld out in Singapore? what if, what if...
Quote ( Louis Francis @ February 9th 2011,23:45:18 )
Great points!
Thank you, atleast I back up what I say.
Edit:

Webber 05 because Webber is also crap.
Webber was as good as Vettel last season. I wouldn't be talking.

Webber was as good as Vettel?
Thats why Vettel was world champ. Ok
|
|
|
Quote ( Tom Parker @ February 10th 2011,00:21:22 )
Thats why Vettel was world champ. Ok Vettel is world champ because he doesn't care, if Ferrari at least supposed Vettel was for that, Alonso couldn't have finished the race stuck after Petrov

Helps when he pwns but oh well

I repeated this post seven times, still makes no sense :(

Quote ( Jonathan Seifort @ February 10th 2011,00:44:20 )
I read this post seven times, still makes no sense :( Easy, the battle was Webber - Alonso, but Vettel still could be champion, Webber piitted early, so Alonso pitted straight after Webber, Vettel first, they both were in bad situation (Alonso behind Petrov and Webber fighting for having 1 - 2 points) Vettell won and the results were enoughto give him championship -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ford demanded Ferrari for the name of the F1 car F150!
|
|
|
|
|
F;SL;DFA;FL I'm stupid sorry ofc it does. Really forgot that f150 is their new f1 car name, not one of their road cars ;)
|
|
|
I didn't even think of the Pick-Up Series, Ford is just being picky.
F150 sounds right as a celebration name, what's wrong Fordies, need money over there?
