Onderwerp: Remove hooting in Race Wait screen |

Please can we remove the irritating noise/hooting/sirens/rubbish sound that happens every few seconds on the race screen before the race. I hate opening the race screen and being subjected to it while waiting for the race to start. (I often miss the start of the race because I have to wait until after the start to log in)

That isn't a bad idea. You don't want rid of it all together as some people listen to it as they have the race screen open but minimized as they do other things waiting for the race to start.

Get a radio and a television. ;)
I agree with the suggestion, the hoots are irritation for no reason, but if there's enough time to watch a movie or listen to music, why on earth would you have the race page open?

I have the chat open in another tab, and the beep sound it makes when someone posts I like as I can then tab there and see what was said. (So turning off sound does not work for me).
What is the hoot supposed to be anyway?

Maybe we can form a committee, that will suggest the suggestions to the better/VIP/inner circle managers, so that they will tell the admins.
... and by suggest the suggestions I actually mean bug them incessantly. :)

The air horn noise is present at every race event while the cars lineup on the grid, why not have it here to? The noise is to signal the count down until the formation lap, one red light lights up every time the horn sounds.
|

Answer: Mute volume only for your browser (possible in Vista and Windows 7, right click on speaker icon > Open Volume Mixer, Mute for your application)
Question 2: What if you want to view video clips on Youtube while waiting?
Answer: Open GPRO in a separate browser program and block volume of that browser only.
This is what I have been doing for more than a year now..
