Well done, Ian, great race, mate. My wobbly tyres let me down in the end. Could this season see the battle of the Brits?

Welp, being 4th on S52R11 with a big mistake on my strategy, didn't expected that !

Florin, Congrats today. Nice job on your strategy. :)
Well done.

Tnx mate! Here wet tires last for ever! 1 stop when rain appears was a good strategy also but with a week pit stop caused by refueling with 1 tone of fuel... I had 32 sec pit because of that...I put a lot extra fuel to be sure! Was second time here with weather changes...I'm glad with this result!

Could be an interesting Race Guys :) Good Luck in the weather lottery.
I will still be Cruising, & very happy to be mid pack. I am just trying to build & develop this Rookie Driver for my long term plan ready to re-attack Pro & Master
So have fun up the front :)
Cheers

Hi Guys,
Welcome to all the new Guys to A105. Hope every one has a Good Season 58
This will just be another "Cruising" season for me, developing this Rookie Driver for another Long Term Plan :)
Hopefully the GPRO drought is over & we can have a few more wet races, to spice things up a little more this season :)
Good Luck in Melbourne Guys Cheers Andrew

Good Luck in the Yeongam weather lottery Guys :)
Who will start "Slicks" or "Wets" & what works out to be the correct "Flip of a Coin" decision will be interesting to watch

Now Andrew that the question.....who's brave!, I'm confused myself :)

I wasn't expecting to win tonight, i can say thanks to the rain and some good fuel calculations to get over the leaders of the group.
Though fight Andreas ! You were so close :p

Brand new engine and it bloody misfires. Bloody Honda engineers!

Congratz Marco, Fantastic Win :) Great battle with Andreas. Although Andreas was very unlucky to pit just before the 2nd weather change. Personally I was very surprised it lasted 20 laps. My prediction was 3 to 7 Wet, 10 to 12 Dry, then Wet to the end. But What was even more surprising to me, was how many went on softer compounds in 47 C when the TCD to Hards was almost nothing, costing them an extra pit. Hards were the obvious dry tyre choice.

LMFAO, I have been running a low level McHonda engine most of the Season, LOL. No need to run much else when developing a young driver for long term plan. So I was very happy with a 9th in the Wet :)))

I've checked another track with same temperature, and saw that rain went trought 4 laps, than came back at 22nd lap until the end. My strategy was then doing 20 laps with dry tyres, and the Hard tyres were the only choices I could take for that, plus the fact I waited one extra lap before piting.
That might give you an idea on how to calculate your strategy in case we have another track in the same style. Be patient, and you'll see you can compete for the promotion spots. It took me more than a year of patience and learning, and it finally pays :p
