Testng costs 1Million for up to 100 laps between races. If you do not use up your 100 laps by race time then you lose them so:

If you are doing more testing before the race it will be free.

If you are waiting until after the race to do more testing it will costs another 1Mill.

The advice i was given is that testing is relatively useless in Rookie, beyond getting some data on wear etc you're best off saving the cash.
