Is there any earinings-change coming with this new expensive and mandatory expence?

i like the idea, make planning more important... but i think it's a looot expensive for managers at pro, master and elite!!!

If they did change the amount for a race it's not in the rules yet. I notice how all the people who are saying they like the idea are those new guys in rookie! haha Those that haven't been in the levels that this will be affecting anyway.

So what if it buggers up strategy spreadsheets? Make the most of the fact data is new, and try to exploit it, that's the name of the game, everyone is now on a level playing field. Why live with the same variables all the time? GPRO will become too predictable, and easy. Risks need to be taken, and I'm liking this idea.
Mind you, for non-elite groups, I'm not so sure, and it's a bit short notice to those who have planned their finances to the limit, although, it's a bit too late to change it now.
EDIT: Urgh, I'm against my team here, so I'll leave it there, it does seem a bit more ridiculous for non-elite groups, thinking about it, especially for Pro.

I see alot of negative balances occurring if there's no other financial changes.
Only interesting thing for me is how far do tires last. Just hope there's something for this somewhere.

So if you don't make 90% in a race and you pay your driver 2million in pro...You cannot make any positive money??? If you get to negative and break can you literally never get out????

well seems like we gonna have a lot of races at the start of this season ruined by people trying to figure out what their tyres can actually do.
Would hope there a way to get extra income now, but find that doubtful. Adds a new interesting element to the game and only time will tell how this surprise is gonna affect everything :)

agreed. i think it's a VERY GOOD idea, but the taxes are expensive. a manager with bridgerock will pay 85 M a season in tyres!!!

We AB-SO-LUTELY need a new sponsor system with that insane tyre fee.
Sorry, but it is that way, I can't imagine right now how to stay positive without letting my car smoke for several races because the tyres are expensive as HELL.
We need to discuss sponsoring even more now, or changing instantly the new feature.

Rofl, BadYear are the worst tyre choice I have ever seen.
Whoever chooses them are actually a bit low on the IQ side of things.
