Liking the variety in tyre suppliers :)

The worst thing about it is everyone having to figure out how to best use their tyres based on what everyone else has chosen. I sense a lot of qualifiers for all races.

Just wondering... Perhaps with 1 bar of durability adding to Yokomama will make more Pro manager interest to sign contract with them? I don't see much interest to them this season by Pro managers. Actually nobody signed with them in my group!

I completly agree Yoko are currently under-balanced and Avonn over balance, users numbers are overwhelming.
Maybe one less durability bar for Avon and one more for Yoko would make it more of a real strategic option on the lower price range...

Or move one performance bar from dry to wet to make Yokos a poor man's version of BadYears.

Id like to see yokos warmup drop to 2 bars and up Avonns by 2 bars. Something that durable shouldnt warmup so quick and then swap their peak temps while at it.
That should be interesting.

Yoko is losing its image and under-estimated since the introduction of Avonns. Some changes need to be done to make Yoko advantageable in some way, given that Avonns are known for their durability and Dunno for their performance.
IMO, 1 bar should be added to both dry and wet performance to Yoko, so that it becomes more or less equivalent to Dunno in terms of dry performance and hold an advantage in wet with +2 more performance than Dunno, but less durable.

tbh I dont really see a problem with yoko atm . they got 1 bar less then dunnos on dry but they got 1 bar more on wet performance. they got got 2 durability bars less then dunnos but they also have 1 bar less on warm up . and they cost 700k cheaper then dunnos

Quote ( Andi Ndreçka @ May 23rd 2014,10:06:17 ) this change only would take Dunno out and leave everyone a choice between avonn and yoko so no improvement in here I agree, but not completely because Yoko's less durability will still give Dunno an upperhand and probably, pit-stop advantage too for Dunno.

This. It makes sense. Except for Pips all other brands do follow this trend(and Pips are not expected to at that price, cheaper doesnt last longer)

So, season reset is very soon, do you believe we will have tyre changes or new tyres? 2 season in row with same tyres was shoking, 3 will be just lol.

no less shocking that tyres were almost completely the same in the 15 season's I was playing before the new ones came about :D

I think that was a great package +, a LOT of managers with Leandro Tyres ( he beat them all in the pits) and really good luck with weather.
And in the end, Michies won it. I dont think its broken

Only one change made for season 42, will this make Yoko a good option again?
|
|
|
If only there could be one bar less in warmup
|
|
|
Think yoko will be on the same playing field as dunnos this season as a promotion tyre
|
|
|
Really interesting change to Yokos

Pays your money and takes your chance on the weather.

Yeah, looks promising for the Yoko again :)

Sure..... drop the price of Contis the season after I use them.
Honestly, it's enough to make a perfectly sane person just a little tiny bit
CRAZY

CRAZY You should use them again :P then they will be even cheaper xD

Not even if they were half the price I would use them again!!Would you Phil?? :)

|

Same shit, different price...
|

I dunno... maybe another season on contis to wipe out all my money. I didn't quite get psychotically angry enough last season so..... might give it another go this season :D
I've drawn this neurological diagram of how my brain works when choosing tyres...
