This is just saddening. I will be running the black livery. If Jasper's idea goes into fruition, I will use that too for the rest of the season.

RIP Mark.

RIP Mark. Condolences to your families (GPRO and RL); our paths didn’t cross often, but you were always awesome.

Hope you and Andy have a good tussle in the Elite division in the sky. Both taken far too early. :(

Black livery for you this race.

I was offline yesterday and suddently i woke up and before entering the team chat i read a message saying "im sorry to ear about Mark". In a fraction of seconds i opened this forum topic and i read Peter's pm.

It was a shock to me. I knew about his wife's condition as it was made public aswell but i had no idea he would go first.

It's a sad day for me, Mark was both inspiring and passionate when it comes to GPRO and he was so mentally strong on real life even when he knew the worst was comming. Such a great guy didnt deserve such bad luck. I'm just glad to know he's no longer suffering and he's getting his rest now.

I'll miss you Mark.

Rest in peace Mark.

The news came to me as a shock. He was a really good friend and manager, very chatty and it was always fun talking to him on the chat. I would definitely run the Victorious livery in his honour.

Godspeed & best wishes to his family

Sad to hear, I do remember reading his posts and about the struggles, what life gave to him. This age is seriously low, I hope he'll rest in peace and wait for his wife.

I rarely change my livery, but this time I will.

RIP Mark.

RIP, Mark.
Best wishes for his family (RL and GPRO).

Edit:
Spectacular tribute that the three teams of the "Victorius" family paid to Mark in their Liveries.
Congratulations!

Mark brought me to Victorious in Aug 2018 and acted as a mentor to me. For the struggles 2020 had thrown at him and the worry he had about his wife's condition and what might lie beyond, I didn't think his own health crossed his mind.

Goodbye Mark.

I remember joining the VS family, everybody was so nice(still are) and everybody had meticulous 'plans', I mean real planners, at least to me, of more than 5 seasons ahead. and Mark would come in basically and be like 'meh', going to go fast as possible or as hard as possible.

He was a good guy and I respected the way he approached the game...he played it his way...

Quote ( Dean Francis @ November 29th 2020,03:06:13 )

A very sad day for me. I just lost my best friend in this game and it just came from nowhere. He was forced to quit his job and be a full time carer for his lovely wife, who was full of cancer. She kept fighting on though and in the end, maybe this toll, was too much for Mark in the end

Those that know of him, would know that he wears his heart on his sleeve. He will always stand up for you, and a man I deeply respected

I am at a loss mate, this is really tearing me up. You will be never be forgotten and I hope you can finally now, rest in peace

Wha... thats...but... why... I can't... just... omg...

I'm so sorry to hear this sorrowful news. My condolences to the entire Victorious Secret family. As I read the good articles about you, I'm sorry I didn't cross paths with you somewhere. He will be remembered with the beautiful memories he left behind in this game.

I remember it with respect, love and mercy.

But he also had another big wish, where he did talked about alot. And that was having only pink cars in elite.

If no Victorious livery to run, I'll run a racing point livery to see this happen.

Condolences to those affected. Though I never got a chance to have a personal experience with him, Mark seemed a respectable guy and will missed greatly in the community he has had a big part in. Very sad to hear of his passing.

First of all my condolences to all Mark´s family, friends and loved ones.

Then to the Victorious Secret Team, his mates and friends. Who have in this very sad way lost a friend and teammate!

R.I.P. Mark!

Many will be the managers in GPRO that will miss him. Especially those who had very close contact with him. ALWAYS very sad and depressing to deal with such blows!
