Hi all, im an old newbie.
Started playing this somewhere on 2008 maybe, around season 13, retired for about a decade and thru some ad found this again and glad to be back!
Meanwhile, funny enough, i landed a career in real life F1 and currently work for an Italian team Toro Rosso.
Good luck to all and happy new year!

Hi all, my name is David Jackson. This is my first full season and GPRO has already taken over my life. Being an F1 fan I thought I’d take a look at this game to check it out. Wow can’t stop logging in at every opportunity. I’ve chipped away this season getting better results each race and last race got my first pole and won the race. Looking forward to learning and gaining more experience to help climb the ranks. Hooked.

Hi David, nice to see you are doomedhooked :).

You might have ignored the PM as spam, but it's still not too late for you to ask for a mentor at Mentor forum, in case you want to ask some more in depth questions to a veteran. Not mandatory of course, but can be a good idea.

Welcome aboard, and know there's no way out meueheheheh >:D

So for the introduction..... evenin all, good morning, good afternoon, how ya doin???
Im Rob, im 43 im a lorry driver and im in sunny lincoln in england, the home of the mighty imps and god himself!
Im not massively into F1 to be honest, i watch it if its on but iv never been to a live race and not fussed who wins really, im more of a speedway fan when it comes to motor sport, love my speedway, huge tai woffinden fan and iv been all over europe in the past watching it.
Also a football fan, as obvious as that is, and a season ticket holder at lincoln city.
Im married, got 2 kids and a nutcase of a jack russell dog who actually talks to me when nobody else is around ;)

Welcome to the game, I've played different sports management games, but this one is by far the most challenging and most rewarding.

Best advice is to mess around in rookie for a couple seasons then once you have some experience, join a team.

Good luck!

Yeah, you can totally blow your cash, after each season rookie progress is all reset if you don't promote, you get 30mil to start with, a new driver if driver's contract have ended or his OA wen't above 85 :] You should read Game Rules and WIKI ;]

Hello :D I don't know what to say bcse it's my first week (this game it's kinda cool) so lets give a try ;3
Well, after staying like 1 hour reading "the noob guide" I think that I'm able to understand a bit of the difficult mechanics of this game, so... Lets start with the presentation. (im from Spain, sorry if there is any mistake)
Well, I'm Erik, as you can read in my profile and I'm 14 (yeah, I'm a little kid full of virginity) and....well I will need to practice a lot of time to understand the other 70% of the game, but, well.... Im having fun at least...
One question: It's ok that in my first face (and without knowing anything of the game) I've placed 15? how was your first result?

Welcome Erik, I have to say your English is damn awesome for a 14 year old or google translate making magic to come true :D

I hope you will enjoy this game as much as all of us have been ;]

As for you question it depends on the group u are in and how many active managers are in there, as I have ended on 7th spot in my 1st race :]

As long as in 2-3 seasons you are not still in P15, I think you'll be fine :D, meaning you'll learn from your mistakes!

Hint: problem is usually the driver. You can blame the mentor too, but pay attention to the driver :)

Hi I'm Grant from Johannesburg South Africa. I think I'm still a noobie, done 10 GP's... so new compare to most. Still finding my feet. Struggling to score my first point, but getting closer. Anyone wanting to help? It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Happy racing

Hey, Kasper! Yeah, I realized that buying level 1 parts was an absolute waste of money. Luckily, it's nearly the end of the season, and I can start fresh. I've read up on everything; I'm ready to win next season.

Also, Grant, you should opt for a mentorship; I'll be starting one at the beginning of next season.
