0% rain probability means no rain!!! Whats happening here at Brazil???

Instead to do stupid changes like spiders the crew should change rain probability... In the last 5-6seaons this rain probability became only a lotto race... someone is playing with us playing with a "red button" to troll most managers as possible so my suggestion is it must change for next season and do the races more real as possible

Thanks

0% rain probability means no rain!!!

No it doesn't.

Quote Wiki

Rain Probability

0% rain probability means you can be sure that it won't start raining during the period. If it is already raining, you can be sure that it will stop raining during the period, but you don't know when it will happen (it can stop after one minute or after 29 minutes).

100% rain probability means that rain won't stop during the period. If it is dry at the start of the period, you can be sure it will start raining during the period - but again you don't know when that will happen.

Is not the case about when or how or if should or if should not. This game really has some serious catch ups to do about weather.

Still, if you were spending millions and millions of real money, wouldn't you have fire this meteorologist a long time ago?

There is definitely some place for improvement in the weather system. Narrower margin maybe? Additional info such as probability rain starts/stops (which is what we have now) + probability that there is any rain (whether it started earlier or not) at a specific period during the race. Or anything else to make it more MANAGEABLE. It is a management game after all, isn't it?

surely whatever is right or wrong is the same for everyone so there's no issue? Or is that too simple...

Impossible, one player in a team purchases the best weather set-up/equipment/team and tells his team mates what the weather will be. Everyone must have the same forecast.

Rain probability must change NOW

that NOW is really gonna affect Admins decisions

How about proposing an alternative?

PS. Experience is still a bigger bug in the game (in my humble opinion)

Yawn...all as forecast.

Usual thread whenever someone misunderstands probability...or in this case simply misreads the weather.

You are missing my point. I am not arguing that each manager/team should have their own weather cast team/equipment.

I am not saying the the weather man can TELL nature what the weather will be.

I am saying what most people are saying out there: weather has become a lotery. If this is so, it is because the weather cast guy is not accurate enough. Time for change. For the whole community's benefit.

Ask the 40 Elite managers how random the rain this race was, the majority will tell you they had a fairly good idea of what would happen, in weather terms.
