A while ago i had a driver who marked my career. He was very fast and had an amazing bandana and i liked him a lot. But due to various reasons i had to get rid of him. But i will never forget Dino Miles. So im suggesting that we would do some kind of driver wall of fame for 1 driver or maybe more who marked your career. This would have absolutely no impact on his stats or on his performance, would be just a statistic, or a thing on the manager profile. But i think it would be a nice little touch since i will never forget him and i will probably never hire him again since he is retiring soon. I just wish there was a way of retaining him on my profile as a standout, or a highlight, even after he retires...

And the reason im suggesting this is because this would have no impact in gameplay in any way. It would just be a neat, little addition, which people could use or not and would have absolutely any impact on anything except the manager's heart!

What do you think?

I see no problems with this idea. But until it happens, you can write something nice about that driver on your manager career page.

He certainly came to fruition while you held him, shame you couldn't keep him through climax

The way gpro recycles driver ids would make this a bit difficult to implement i guess.
The driver i’d put in my hall of fame goes by ‘unknown driver’ nowadays :)

I think that issue could be fixed by just keeping the driver name and nothing else once he retires. That way the id would still be recylced no?

I think a screen grab of said driver at the end of his career would be the best. Paste his achievements and records etc at each level.

I’ve witnessed both Guy Love and Ahmet’s Panis and I have to say, neither were particularly memorable, so maybe this is a good suggestion

I miss a driver Hall of Fame very much actually!

It is so sad to develop a driver - which can take years - care for him and have success with him, just to see him overwritten and recycled.

but.

I'm afraid that that would be "too much information". I mean, from the Drivers' History you need a calculator just to know how many races he raced under a manager, From Season X1, Race Y1 to Season X2, Race Y2 and, you want to splash on a wall who was your favorite dear. That would be like shouting "Bid! Bid! Bid!".

Sweet dreams.

And Driver Who? Who are drivers in motoracing?! (Pretty much to say the least)

I've my own drivers' history in my Manager Career page so I can keep them in a better place.

That would be nice but as said before, driver profiles get overwritten some time after they retire. Plus, you can't check profiles of drivers who have retired. It's not about showing things like "This driver is good, bid for him!". It's about showing your appreciation for a driver that you appreciate for what they did for you.

Yeah it wouldnt have any sort of change gameplay wise, and in lots of cases (like my driver for example) once the driver no longer has a team his stats will deteriorate and nobody will want him (as it is happening with my driver). And thats exactly what im looking for, appreciation, a special place for a special driver who might not have even had the best results, but for some reason he marked you
