Quote ( Jimmy De Roy @ June 28th 2012,13:24:08 ) Let me ask you this. you have 15 year old son, shitty comes to your door and says we want your son to play for us. we give you 2M euro's, a house in Manc, a car and we pay your son 2000 a month to start. would you refuse it?
My point exactly. 'Send me a postcard son!' :)

Really you know a lot do you? If they are so unattractive why is that chelski signed 5 belgians in a seasons time?

Well then tell me if it fair that those are the teams who have millions in debt? If in Belgium, Germany and Lolland you have balance like that you are relegated. And this time it Uefa who doesn't want to apply this for all european clubs because of Spanish and English teams are against it and Uefa is scared they might leave champions league and start a competition of their own

Didn't say I liked it, it's just the way it is. Small clubs will always be feeders for larger clubs. Players will always want to play at the highest level and earn as much as they can. I sympathise, but you should accept that it will never change.

i can agree to that as Anderlecht and others do the same in Belgium but fact is that i disagree on the fact that you have soo many millions in debts and are allowed to do it.
to give you an example if you are in debt in belgium you are not even allowed to do transfers.

Quote ( Frederico Neves @ June 28th 2012,13:14:18 ) Now I would like to see a Spain vs Italy in the final :o)
Me too. And Italy with the trophy! Love some players from that team. :)
Quote ( Jimmy De Roy @ June 28th 2012,07:47:23 ) Did you see the same game as i did?
Yes Jimmy. My definition of "great game" is definitely different from your definition. And I respect your opinion. ;)

I think that's a great rule. I also think that UEFA's hands are tied by thier own greed and will not enforce it globally. I despise the influence big money has on the game. It has ruined it. I hate the fact that a club like Man City were bought and then basically bought the EPL title. Where's the fun in that?
Your club will continue to lose talented players, but you will at least have the morale high ground :)

Well i guess shitty fans will disagree but if you look at what happened to Cardiff where does it end? Having to change team colours and crest just because some sjeik bought himself the club as a new toy and he wanted his own colours and crest

Uefa and Fifa are ruining the game because of financial interests, It´s horrendous to make some teams/players make 70/80 games per season. Then of course we will complain about the poor performances that are made at international stages being Euro 2012 the current example.

That is true, if we are honest i don't think we can say we have seen 10 good games so far.
It is not only poor performances, it is also bigger risk of injuries.

We will see how it goes Germany-Italy... We might see another end like Spain-Italy!
I wish best of luck to both countries in this match!

Almost all in the world is ruined because of that... that's why I started to watch and play curling :D

You mean you didn't get the golf clubs out, or better still, exercise your right arm in the many many drinking dens that are in Aberdeen! :-)

Hope there will be a good match tonight, if possible both teams loose...
Not possible ? Hmmmm..... ok, then Germany loose...
I don't like Germany squad. Nothing to do with german people. Now don't go saying i'm racist.
I didn't saw the prediction of the german cow (no, not that one...) for this match... (not the indian cows either, or people will say i'm disrespecting their gods, semi-gods or something.) Just the ordinary predictor cow.
Geeez, it's difficult to write in this forums...

Quote ( Jimmy De Roy @ June 28th 2012,11:46:17 ) In enrique's theory you have 10 defenders, 1 goalie and then nani and ronaldo which makes 13 :)
nope, I meant 10 defenders plus goalie. Nani and Cristiano defend as well.

Quote ( Fernando Fernandes @ June 28th 2012,10:57:15 ) We did not underachieved Enrique, in those times, Figo, Deco, Pauleta etc etc we caught a unbeatable Zidane´s France and lost, we still are trying to figure it how, to Greece at Euro 2004 final. Defending? We had the most thrilling attack squad ever supported by a great defense. ;)
exactly my point. That was a fun squad to watch. They really exploited the offensive talent. Yes, sometimes you loose; and it had to be precisely in the final, in your homeland and against an absolute underdog. It was still a much better tournament performance that what was shown this year.

Germany and Italy have faced off 8 times in competitve matches with Italy winning them all. 8-0
History will either repeat itself or be writing. Either way I am looking forward to the game tonight and dont see this been a 0-0 draw after ET :)

And it has nothing to do with the actual squads :P That's over the last 50 years and both teams are playing quite differently as in the past. I never liked to watch the German games in the past, but in the last couple of years they have played mostly quite an attractive football and I actually think that it's only good for the Germans that Italy isn't playing that defense as they used to play.
I think that Germany will win this ;)

I'd support Italy, but if they go trough to final, they'll most likely lose to Spain. So I might even prefer Germans winning this one

Congratulations to Portugal by the sensational party did, with his great defense has been to Spain blocked for most of the game ... is the only way to stop the game in Spain (when Xavi in the field) ...
The problem was that advocate for more than 90 minutes in this way is impossible for any team ... and besides that ... Del Bosque was very ready to remove XAVI (creator of the short passing game) to play with and PEDRITO NAVAS ... much more open football down the wings and more direct ... This is an advantage of Spain ... that changing a single player (XAVI) completely changes the way you play on a computer.
I just hope that tonight we see a great game and pass the final Italy ...
Greetings to all!
