I have a question on sponsors, why do they take a season to make a decision? Season has few races left and yet no decision is made on sponsorship

Generally in Rookie, you would try and only look at getting one sponsor at a time. Or else it will take a while.

I usually take 2 new sponsors per 1 season, so I guess the problem is probably in the way you (Lashas) negotiate with them.
First sponsor should be on board after race 6-9, second 1-3 races before the season end. I don't think it's a long time.

Did you develop your Commerical on staff and facilites? This is the most important for sponsorship deals.commericals are try to deal with sponsorship firm.

i had a sponsor whose contract expired after 9 races, there was no option to renew or extend contract, started negotiations with others, no progress at all. Thanks for your comment @Burak Celik, let me look at my facilities

It's not possible to renew with a sponsor.
There should be progress with sponsors negotiations after each race. It usually takes many races (sometimes over a season) to sign a deal with a new sponsor.

It is quite complex on how it all works.
I would suggest in a non promo Rookie season you experiment to find what works for you.
Remember, all progress will be lost in the reset if you stay in Rookie anyway, so use it to learn.

For example;
:Number you are negotiating with
:different priorities
:how good your Q's & results are
:your commercial level
:the answers you give to questions compared to the attributes of the sponsor. (If they stay or leave during negotiations)
:a certain attribute that your driver has
:etc.

Be patient is the best advice I can give you.
When you are ready for promo to Amateur, look at the Big Picture, & look for the long term gain.

Really ????
Good Luck getting 5 Sponsors, LOL

It is certainly one factor, as I mentioned above, but there are other important factors as well.

Correct, especially in Rookie.
Even if you get a Start Accident, you will still be about 15th or better in most Groups, & possibly points in some Rookie Groups.
So you should see the progress advance each race.

Sometimes you will want slow progress, if you have doubled up a car spot.
I had one Rookie Sponsor in the Freezer, for 5 Seasons in A110, LOL

hi,
i promoted from rookie having a quite nice Progress in Sponsor negotiations with one Sponsor of my (ex)rookie Group. now i noticed that another Manager startet negotiating with that Sponsor. i also saw that my negotiation Progress lost 0,5%. is there a connection?
does that Sponsor continue negotiating with me still when i'm in Amateur? or will he reject? or will the Progress go to the freezer (what doesnt help me really if another Manager negotiates, reaches 100% while my Progress is stopped due to beeing in Amateur)

thanks for helping me, sorry for asking if it is foby.

Hi Michele,

You can continue to negotiate with sponsors from your previous groups. Your progress won't stop. Also I didn't ever noticed that one can loose some progress with the sponsor. The average progress (on the Available Sponsors page) is depending on progresses of all managers negotiating with this sponsor and rounded to the nearest percent. Maybe you've looked at the wrong page?

thanks guys! hopefully you are right :-)

i'm a Little bit confused about this:
on the "Sponsors negotiations overview" Screen it dropped by 0,5% from seasonend and even after the seasonend-script (24,6%) to now (24,1%), no doubt about this.
can a driverchange cause this drop??? i was without Driver and luckily got one at the first market of this season.

on the Screen "available Sponsors" of my former rookie Group r-102 the average Progress dropped to 6%. that could be realistic and should be mathematically correct if 4!!!! other Managers startet negotiating with that Sponsor (gl electronics)...
so far so clear, BUT:

-how could get managers make a Progress before the first race? no one can make a Progress from seasonend to before r1 i think
- how could rookie Managers make a Progress from before r17 of s54 to now due to rookie reset???
- how could 4 other former r-102 Managers who also promoted to Amateur start negotiations from before r17 of s54 to now when only 2 guys of r-102 joined me to Amateur???

could it be a bug or is the bug in my brain? :-))) i'm afraid it's Option 2.

Do you have any evidence of the progress dropping, or is it just by memory.

Also, no one can make progress between races. It's just that 3 others started and are now at 0%.

confused again...after race 1 my sponsor progress with the sponsor of my ex-rookie group raised from 24 to 32 % - so far so good. average progress was 13% so i should have been still far ahead of any other manager of that rookie group. after race 2 the sponsor pulled back from negotiations, average still at 13% and no rookie manager of r-102 signed a contract with them. can someone please explain that to me?

You had 32% another had 6-7%. And another 0

Sponsor left you whilst rookie gained 6-7%. Other rookie pulled out.

What colour is the sponsor wording now

they asked me before the last race of s54 where on the car their name would be (answered "nose", that slot is still available on my car), since that they didn't ask again.

okay - but why? is that just some kind of bad luck or something used to call "random" or did i make a mistake?

What colour is the sponsor wording now

on the sponsors negotiations overview it disappeared from the ongoing negotiations and is now shown righthandsides at communications from sponsor staff. the sponsor's name there is white. at the page "available sponsors" of r-102 the name is also white, the 13% progress is yellow.

i did one thing between r1 and r2: i upgraded my commercial facilities.

I dont want to create a new topic so I will just ask here because it all is about sponsors.

First, does everyone racing in Ama get a crack at the same sponsors?

Second, can there really be just one sponsor that is not busy in negotiating?

I really find it strange. Never seen that before.
