That was what wanted me to pick Mamedyarov lol. Duda's current record wasn't kind to him so he had to play for the win.

:) I admit that I knew all the players in the Master group beforehand. But those of Challenger only a few. This game makes me catch up again with the young promises that are always coming out.

Monthly basis probably won't work so well as it does for football, but roughly one event per month is quite possible. For starters, we will have 3 FIDE Grand Prix events on 3-17 Feb, 28 Feb - 14 Mar, 21 Mar - 14 Apr. We can also try some faster time controls as Ilia suggested earlier. There will also be some open swiss tournaments, but for these we would have very short notice on who plays who.
