I find it interesting, being able to change the strategy during the race.
example fuel, tires, continue with the fuel to start and tire
but free to change the amount of fuel and type of tire,
as in F1.
Choose at least two types of tire changes during the race.

Poor aussies, not everyone can be online for the race and wouldn´t be fair for the ones who live in other timezones, it´s not their fault to live there ;)

Anyway, the live race isn´t live, it´s simulated by the server since the qualys closes and the race start, what you see is just a graphic representation of that simulation ;)

What about having the game completely mathmatically with players able to put as many 'What if functions' as they want for and and every possibility that could happen, that way we feel like we get to change things live cause it does what we think of when it happens even though cant actually change it live.

Yes, sure the mathemiticians would wipe the floor with us, and once everyone has the formula that did everything right every race it would be boring, and who won would be all about randoms and pitstop times and we'd all stop playing and GPRO would die and... wait... thats a bad idea hey... come to think of it, being able to change things live would end up just as boring if you really thought about it, who'd want to wait 3-4 days for just 2 hours worth of gaming and have then have the gaming so mechanical, no anxiousness, no nervousness wondering did you plan right or not,it would get boring real fast, again, cause it would just be about pitstop times and randoms, no strategy, no planning, no room for the excitement that comes from seeing if your ideas and plans worked out or not after days of careful analysis and strategy planning.

Maybe, just maybe, there's a reason the game keeps going and growing with its current formula afterall...

I do like the idea of making changes during race.

However, I have to admit, that it would make the game much more difficult, if not even unfair to those, who cannot be online. There are the Aussies, for whose the race is taking place in the middle of the night, but there are also people, who work or have other obligations and simply cannot watch all the races.

So I think, even though I like the idea, that here we have to make compromises and come up with what works best and is fair for everyone. Hence, things are good as they are.

What you see is a replay of the race..

the race engine did its job after Qualify finished so therefore impossible to make any changes.
