Jorge, have you checked the posts above? GO has had an update last week, so if you have not updated to the new version, that might explain the error.

GO is working fine for me, and as far as I know it doesn't need to access that Apache server to run? Sounds odd to me.
I suggest you download and install the latest version (again if you did it recently), but make sure that you save a backup of your go.dat file somewhere safe so that you don't lose your data. Download here http://mbjerg.dk/gpro/

Florencia: It was quite before the last update. That can not be.

Graham: login http://mbjerg.dk/gpro/, and do not show it to me. Then I can not install anything either.-

This post asks the same thing. There is no answer

GO is not the problem then I'm afraid. If you cannot see the site, there must be some sort of problem regarding your browser settings (maybe ports?) or your Internet Service Provider. Have you tried a different browser?

Yes, it is the same

Quote ( Jorge Corte @ September 18th 2018,01:33:07 ) Port 80 Check if port 80 is enabled in Windows firewall, that's the only thing that comes to my mind :/

Thanks Florencia, I'll see that. I'm baffled

There is that "parsing..."error for sponsors yet again.
ps. I had sponsor negotiation last race so maybe that have something in common?
|
|

Yeh I keep getting it as well - although it does seem to gather all the info ok

oops - sorry forgot I don;t have image rights
Funnily enough, I bought a new laptop last week and it does not have the same problem although I can only get s few seasons onto the new one. Have tried loading content from another file but it does not seem to work correctly for some reason....but it is only a back up to the main one on my pc.

|
|
I have the same trouble:
Error during sponsor parsing. Error during download

Sorry to say so, but GO will shutdown, I have had some problems with my computer, which has effectively scrambled the source for the project, making it impossible to continue the work. Unfortunately this also affected my backup.
Hate to disappoint all of you, but I think it is time to go back to pen and paper ;-(
Sorry once again Mikkel

This is very sad news indeed. I'm confident that GO has been an invaluable help for many starting managers, and probably to more experienced managers too.
Specially during the first seasons of a manager GO could help a lot with tyres & fuel, freeing the managers resources to learning the "big picture" of season management
Therefore the loss is great.

Sorry once again Mikkel So sad to hear this, it marks the end of an era, and the loss of an invaluable tool for many players old and new. ☹️
Mikkel thank you for your support of GO over so many seasons. 👍

Sorry once again Mikkel GO was a very important component of GPRO imo and it's a huge loss for the gameplay. Thank you so much for your efforts to keep it alive till now Mikkel.

Thanks Mikkel for all these years of support for us lazy players that relied in GO to collect data :D

|

Thank you Mikkel for all your work you've done on GO. It was a great tool that helped lots of managers during their GPRO careers.
Back to Excel it is, now! :)

Go is probably the reason the game has lasted this long as it provided a simple way of gathering all data whether useful or not. With the majority now having decent tools given to them nobody is reliant on go anymore as the only big change in the game that we are still trying to figure out is not even parsed with go.
The end of go will probably have 2 scenarios. 1st will be that those with data will have theupperhand when we do get fuel suppliers and those that do rely on it as a source of data will probably leave as they fail to get beyond pro.

Sorry once again Mikkel You have never done any save on a usb key or on the web ?
I'm able and interested in continuing it, but with no source it's significate to recode it entirely (i've started this work)

If you had decided to actually share the source code with us and make the tool official when we asked many years ago, it would've had a very different (and better) future that would surely have benefited the game and many people around.

It certainalyhas helped me in my first seasons, yet I still look at the data with a blank expression.
But it did enable me to recreate the calculations page in my spreadsheet.
And after the last issue I decided to go through all my race data, and create my own database just in case this happened.
But many thanks from a relatively new user and player
