Bit late but the #NotTheAusGP hosted by eSports team Veloce eSports was good fun to watch tonight.

For anyone unaware, it was a 50% distance online sim-racing race on the F1 2019 game, featuring a decent mix of F1/exF1 drivers, F1 eSports gamers and F1 content creators, such as Norris, Gutierrez, Vandoorne, Louis Delatraz, Tiametmarduk, Jimmy Broadbent, and some very fast eSports players.

It was good fun watching. I watched the Veloce commentary stream featuring Matt Gallagher from WTF1, as well as Lando and Ben's (Tiametmarduk) perspectives. Getting some nice commentary on their own racing and their battles was good fun and now I wish F1 driver onboard cameras also featured driver mics ;)

Keep an eye out for things like this for the upcoming cancelled races as well.

Personally my replacement of choice was the Marbula One. Amazing how invested you can get watching marbles race haha
