This morning, there was an explosion at the Engels air base, according to Russian sources, as a result of a drone strike. As a result, 2 strategic bombers were damaged. One of the screenshots shows that the distance from Kharkov to the air base is more than 800 km.
A few days earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced that they were moving on to tests of a Ukrainian drone with an operational range of 1,000 km. Modestly mentioning that the opposition to electronic warfare systems will be tested.
It seems that Ukraine has a way to strike objects that are deep in the rear on the territory of Russia. This blow is especially painful also because Russia is now, in principle, not capable of building strategic aviation. Against this background, the recent presentation of the strategic bomber B-21 Raider looks like the achievement of complete US superiority in this segment of weapons.
I must say that representatives of the Ukrainian General Staff, apart from ironic statements on their personal pages in social networks, did not publish anything about this. Therefore, all of the above, consider my amateurish fabrications.
ps Russia has been attacking the entire territory of Ukraine with the help of strategic aviation for about an hour now.
p.p.s. Today is also another iconic sad date. On December 5, 1998, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the United States signed an agreement on the elimination of 44 heavy bombers and 1,068 Kh-55 air-based cruise missiles.

On Monday, December 5, mysterious explosions occurred at two Russian airbases. Each of them is located very far from the front. The exact cause of the explosions is still unknown. But, as The Guardian writes, it seems that Ukraine has found a way to attack the Russian Tu-95 and Tu-22M.

A massive missile attack on Ukraine on December 5 cost the Russian Federation 400-500 million dollars, writes Forbes. Russia launched 70 missiles at Ukraine, 61 of which were neutralized by Ukrainian air defense!

This is tantamount to a plane landing on Red Square in 1987.
The attack on the airfield in Engels was carried out by the Soviet Tu-141 Strizh UAV, which easily overcame almost 650 km over the territory of Russia, Russian war correspondent Komsomolskaya Pravda Kots reported.
This is a complete disgrace to the Russian air defense, the Russian army and a clear sign of the rottenness of the system.
And it is very similar to the flight of the German Rust, who in May 1987, having overcome all Soviet air defense, landed directly on Red Square.
Rust was flying in a light aircraft. Here is an old Soviet drone doing what it wants at a strategic airfield.
In 1987, an incident led to the resignation of Defense Minister Sokolov.
Shoigu? Surovikin?
After the landing of Rust, the USSR remained 4 years of existence.

Quote ( Mattias Svensson @ December 6th 2022,21:44:56 ) Almost 90%! That is a great achievment. Shows Ukraine is taking control in the air.
Unfortunately, the situation can change dramatically. We have nothing to shoot down ballistic missiles.
Rumors have long been circulating that Russia is trying to negotiate with Iran on the supply of not only drones, but also medium-range ballistic missiles at 300 and 700 km. And today there is new information about hundreds of missiles. Taking into account the fact that they can be placed on the territory of Belarus, they will be able to reach any point in Ukraine. And at the same time, we have nothing to shoot them down, because, unlike cruise missiles, conventional air defense, even IRIS and NASAMS cannot cope with them.
In this context, the news about Germany's final refusal to transfer the "Patriot" to Ukraine does not look good, to put it mildly.

Some information and thoughts about the attacks (yes, there were several) on the airfields where the strategic aviation of the terrorist state was located.
1. For the first time, Ukraine partially disrupted Russia's operation to use strategic aviation. It seems that for the first time in history, strategic aircraft were attacked at their places of deployment.
I think it is very important to note the fact that Russian planes were attacked in the morning of the day when they were supposed to carry out a flight mission to attack Ukraine. One of the photos shows the Kh-22 missile already suspended, which, in the end, did not fly anywhere. But there were definitely more of them, perhaps from 8 to 12 missiles did not find target in Ukraine that day.
2. From this we can conclude that Ukrainian intelligence knew about the preparation of an attack on Ukraine on that very day.
3. Russia says they were attacked by Soviet Tu-141-Strizh drones. But no proof of this would be presented. There are two options here: 3.1 if this is true, it turns out that a huge aircraft - 4 meters high, 14 meters long, with a wingspan of 4 meters, calmly overcame a distance of 400-600 km deep into Russia and hit the strategic aviation airfield. In addition, it could not do here without a deep modernization of it by Ukraine. To me, it doesn't look very realistic. 3.2, it is possible that the attack was carried out with the help of much more high-tech drones of Ukrainian production, which were announced back in the summer. But officially they did not even pass all the necessary tests. Therefore, this version can also be criticized.
4. In any case, we can talk about the complete failure of the Russian air defense system, which allowed such a breakthrough. It follows from this that the European part of Russia needs additional saturation with air defense systems, which cannot be taken from anywhere - they either need to be removed from other directions, for example, from the east. Or transfer part of it from the theater of operations in Ukraine. Either way, it will have its consequences.
As a result, we have a well-planned operation on the part of Ukraine. Which will have its far-reaching consequences and, perhaps, will not be single in the near future.
It is also worth noting that in the last attack, Russia used 5 or 6 types of missiles, including the old Kh-22s. This says only one thing - the potential for such attacks is decreasing. And if nothing changes (for example, Iran does not supply its missiles to Russia), such attacks can take place once a month and will not have the desired effect for Russia. But even now we can say that what Russia conceived - a complete blackout in Ukraine - she failed to implement, despite the fact that since October 10, since the first attack on Ukraine, several hundred "high-precision missiles" have been fired.
In this context, I would like to once again express my bewilderment, to put it mildly, about Germany's refusal to supply Patriot systems to Ukraine. After all, Germany openly supports Ukraine, supplies IRIS-T, and the Patriot system is also an exclusively defensive weapon type. After all, the stable operation of the energy system of Ukraine is a guarantee that a humanitarian catastrophe will not happen here in winter. This also applies, at least, to Moldova, which is completely dependent on the work of Ukrainian energy networks.

In order to show their non-existent successes, Russian propaganda has been spinning the agenda for several weeks now that crime, thefts and murders have sharply increased in Ukraine on dark, unlit streets, in dark, unlit cities.
Reality on video: after the power outage, people calmly, without panic, turn on the flashlights on their mobile phones, continue to choose goods and patiently wait in line at the checkout in the moll. https://t.me/voynareal/44655
The russians continue to form an alternative reality in order to somehow convince their internal consumer that Russia is actually winning - to show what really want "simple russian people", who supposedly have nothing to do with this war.
As for street crime - it has dropped dramatically - because the curfew and the increased number of patrols on the streets do not contribute to street crime at all.

The Financial Times, citing sources in Ukraine, writes that the drones that attacked Russia are cooperation of the developments of Ukrainian defense enterprises and private business in Ukraine. As I wrote above - this version is much more plausible than the version of the Russians, who announced the Soviet Tu-141.
I think the russians are trying to the last to support the narrative that Knyazev was furiously promoting here - that Ukraine cannot have anything of its own - that all we have is either Soviet heritage or Western technologies.
Also today it was officially announced that Ukraine has adopted 7 new models of Ukrainian drones. More information was not received - neither about the specifications, nor about the quantity. But, I assume that we are talking mainly about the reconnaissance segment and fire spotters.

⚡️ The Russian authorities are preparing an information background for the announcement of the second wave of mobilization, - ISW.
In particular, the Kremlin has stopped providing limited information about the so-called special operation, and instead is trying to sow panic among Russians, promoting false theories about a possible offensive of the Armed Forces on the border regions of the Russian Federation.

⚡️Ukrainian diplomats and diplomatic missions continue to receive threats, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, said.
In total, 31 cases have already been recorded in 15 countries, in particular in Austria, Romania, Hungary, Spain, the USA and Poland.

⚡️ russian troops use physical abuse against employees of the Zaporizhzhya NPP in order to achieve "loyalty" to themselves, reported Energoatom.
In particular, on December 8, in the presence of employees, the Russians severely beat the head of the social programs department, Oleksiy Trubenkov, and his deputy, Yuriy Androsov. After that, they were taken in an unknown direction.

рutin said that there are about 77,000 Russian troops in the combat zone in Ukraine
"Of the 300,000 mobilized, 150,000 are in the SVO zone (in the combat zone in Ukraine - ed.). Of them, only 77,000 are in combat units, the rest are in ground defense troops. Another 150,000 mobilized russians are still at the training grounds of the Ministry of Defense - this is a reserve," the russian mass media quoted the dictator as saying.
But this is not taking into account the mercenaries of private armies!

Banksy became an honorary citizen of Irpen
The document of the city council states that the British street artist left his graffiti on one of the houses destroyed by the rashis, thus drawing the attention of the world community to the extent of the destruction of Irpen and immortalizing with his work the history of the city's struggle and the idea of its revival.
The other day, the world-famous British street artist Banksy confirmed on his Instagram page that he created a series of drawings in Ukraine, namely in the cities of Kyiv region affected by the Russians. Today, a video from this trip appeared on the artist's page, at the end of which appears the text "In solidarity with the people of Ukraine", which translates as "In solidarity with the people of Ukraine".

Hi guys. They say that the Ukrainian air defense systems are so good that they will soon be purchased from NATO. Ukrainian air defense systems shoot down 72 Russian missiles out of 71. And they also say that Ukrainian drones are successfully bombing Russia and they will be purchased by NATO countries. I don't understand anything about it. Is that so?) I'm not following your hysteria here. But your opinion is very interesting.

Since it is difficult to fall asleep after the defeat of the Netherlands - a little reflection on the obvious consequences of an attack on airfields with strategic aircraft.
1. After the attack, the planes evaporated somewhere - satellite images show that about a dozen of them disappeared from the attacked airfields.
2. Most likely they were moved outside the range of Ukrainian drones (whatever they were, as conflicting information continues to come in). If this is so, then now they are located at airfields approximately 1700-1800 km from Ukraine. The range of their flight and the range of the missiles themselves are enough to continue to threaten Ukraine, but not everything is so simple.
3. Each kilometer of flight increases the cost of operation (fuel, spare parts, pre- and post-operative maintenance, etc.), and most importantly - increases the duration of the flight, which leads to critical wear of equipment.
4. Depreciation of equipment there is nothing to fix, except for cannibalism - to remove parts from other aircraft.
5. The farther you need to fly, the less payload you can take, in addition, a long flight increases the chances of a technical malfunction during the flight on, to put it mildly, and so not new aircraft in Russia.
Of course, the threat has not disappeared, but this is another important step on the way to Ukraine's victory in this war. Russia's latest attack on our energy infrastructure, immediately after disabling at least two strategic aircraft, was the most ineffective of all since the massive attack on October 10th.
This paragraph looks too optimistic, but I still dare. The transfer of strategic aviation to alternate airfields was very predictable, obviously, not only for an amateur like me.

If you repeat something for a very long time, then you can believe it.
Ukrainians have been saying for so long that they are a different people who hate everything Russian, that we, and most importantly Putin, also believed it.
Now, since all of Ukraine hates everything Russian, all of Ukraine will suffer.
Everyone who helps Ukraine will also suffer.
Although, of course, not all. Some Americans are profiting very well from the fact that Ukrainians and those who help them will suffer.
Most likely, there will be those in Ukraine who will get rich very well from suffering. They are now easy to calculate - they have light, heat, sewerage.
If you like to hate Russian, get ready to suffer.
Your heart-rending cries of hatred for the Russian proves that you love suffering very much. :)
If someone gets cold in Europe in winter, ask Ukrainians how they warmed up on Euromaidan. Answer: they were jumping there shouting "Who doesn't jump is Russian!". And they are absolutely right now - the Russians have light, heat, water, food, gasoline and gas.
And Ukrainians poop in plastic bags and jump so as not to freeze. But they hate Russians :)

Once again Dmitry, you are not victims here. Your claims are pathetic at this point. Its easy to tell how much you enjoy the sufferings of others.

And Ukrainians poop in plastic bags and jump so as not to freeze. But they hate Russians :) No one in Europe will freeze, and in Ukraine too! Let me remind you that in Russia more than 50% of the population lives without sewerage, and in many regions there are problems with heating in winter. The men of Buryatia forcibly go to war in order to give their families firewood for heating. Judging by the behavior of the occupying savages, they have no idea of the existence of a toilet and toilet paper.
