Hi, could someone help me as I am having to spend a lot of money on repairing my car as it reaches 100% wear. So I basically lose all my winnings.

for managers in rookie there will be a season reset after this race. so basically everything will be reset for you and you will start with 30M in the bank before race 1.
so nothing to worry, you can repair your car and have fun - and also a good chance to experiment and learn for the upcoming season!

It's not necessary to have the strongest (highest level) car on the grid.
Without a driver, with some goodish attributes, all that 'speed' potential is not utilized.
A better use of cash is to go testing and learn about fuel and tire wear.
I would try a few different drivers with different attributes and compare the results.
When I started, I couldn't wait to get out of rookie and never made use of the opportunity to screw up and learn from it. I probably spent 10 seasons trying to improve with zero understanding as to why I was missing the mark. I'm still working on that! Good luck Bailey. :)

Why Q1 + Q2 times decides the starting grid? Why not the best Q1 times goes to a Q2 competition with 10 first places?

The general consensus is that 3/4 days is a reasonable amount of time to allow managers to prepare for the next race. If you start incorporating multiple qualifying sessions, like F1, then you would have to split that time up. A lot of managers play the game casually and wouldn't be able to commit the time to being online for multiple qualifying sessions.
