I used to play a game where you could do this, young drivers were also able to run a kart race once a week.

Is it forum activation for credits? If so not really sure about the new feature. Doesn't it really 'fix' a problem that wasn't there, encourages more small teams and gives another advantage to those who can afford the Credits?

Pretty pointless feature. Just do what other teams do and give credits to another team member so that you can also get the race data.
Should not be automatic that credits are taken out of team bank to activate the forum should be a action by team member to activate it.

You just make yourself a second account on your phone, add that account to your team, and transfer the credits to them.
