Considering the reset hasn't even started and I am staying in my current group:

I remember seeing TV test screens when I was a kid in the 90s

Oh I saw that screen as a kid in the early 90s too. Nowadays TV stations invent all kinds of shit to broadcast all day long, but back then our public TV station simply didn't broadcast until 18:00.
But then, at 18:00, there were a few shows for toddlers, so I remember watching the test screen while eagerly awaiting extremely satisfying stuff like this. People who created this must have been on psychedelic drugs, but literally every Flemish kid grew up with this :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Siwm34MRSs4

Are you sure? I would bet that I could watch TV before 18.00 in Belgium at my grandparents' house before the 90s. But well... I was little.

On regular weekdays, I think so. But I'm only talking about the Flemish public broadcasting company. You could also watch Dutch TV and some others, maybe they broadcast earlier but I didn't watch it.

I think my grandpa watched Bud Spencer and Terence Hill movies on the Italian public TV, although I don't think he could understand Italian at all 😆
