Just signed a new driver and want to renew for an extra 17 races, but race fee does not reduce from 1 to 17 races. Also the new race fee is about double the current amount.

I had the same thing with my driver a few seasons ago where extending the contract the salary was same for 1 or 17 races.

I assumed it was because of higher reputation. So maybe your new driver has high Reputation and you originally signed him for lower salary
