I can't find a post where I got told what I have to do in Skill Tree :/

Edit. Nevermind, found it :P

Don't join any tournaments until you get to OA 60. Unless there's tournaments without players that you can win easily.

And Mairo, you wasted a whole lot of points on what you shouldn't have. :) It's a mess what you did there. I don't even know how you can use less points to keep going forward. Let's try this ...

Don't put any more points in Rock. Go back to the Racquet Provider and start from there, going next to Marketing Expert. Follow the blue icons until you get to Smart Auctioneer. Use 3 skillpoints there and then get two more in Fighter until Endless Training lights up. Then keep going forward with Veteran, Motivation Wonder, 100% Dedication then Legend.

Edit 2. Am I awful ? :D

I've recently got 32nd point in skill tree, so 5/5 Legend! I signed a 5* coach two days ago so back to a proper training. The Brazilian schedule doesn't suit me very well so I want to make some alterations to get more hitting hardness and service.

I had better service and a LOT better power. 15 points in forehand made such difference while service and hitting hardness are equaly or more important on a hardcourt?

According to OT wiki, this is how the skills are for the various surfaces:

Skills Clay Carpet Grass Hardcourt
Basic strokes + + 0 +
Volleys - 0 + 0
Service 0 + + +
Quickness 0 - 0 -
Hitting precision + + - -
Hitting hardness - + 0 0
Cleverness 0 0 - -

+: very important skill
0: average important skill
-: less important skill

Also it could've been a question of match practice. If it's low, it can hurt you quite badly.

My match practice is above 100 so that's not it. We used the same equipment so it's that 15 points of difference in forehand, tactics, or game engine hates me. I don't believe that a little worse forehand made such difference, my tactic for hardcourt is quite okay (long balls, short rallies, some risk on the return) so it leaves game engine hating me, sad.

This was my first challenger and with such a nice draw I'd hoped for at least a QF...

By 'long balls' I meant trying put a ball deep in a court, do you mean the reverse?

I won a showmatch (6:1 6:0) against no. 27 in the tour using the same tactic as in the unfortunate match that I mentioned previously. Now it is really hard to believe that I lost the match because of a bad tactic.

Maciej Zaleski Francis Carvalho

110 Backhand 110
90 Forehand Volley 93
90 Backhand Volley 93

68 Speed 69
72 Intelligence 91
110 Power 109
93 Precision 108
99 Stamina 101

Pretty much the same skills that are important on a hardcourt. Even if he used a bad tactic, mine has to be good, simple implication.

Guys, what is the magic behind hitting precision training? I can't get it over 94. I have a 5* coach, 4x hitting training and 4x coordination, I believe that those are responsible for this skill. It stuck at 94. I've seen people with hitting precision and hardness at 110 and many other skills better than mine, mine's have stuck for some time.

Maciej check this thread for the Brazilian method which will get you to 100+ easily with a 5* coach. Remember you need to rest between tournamets or you will not get a gain in skills. I suggest playing 1 out of every 3 tournies to start with.

Yea, I followed the brazilian schedule for some time but it lacks focus on hitting hardness so I altered it a bit.

I'm currently on
4x coordination
4x hitting
4x fitness (one or 2 trainings a day it's 3x fitness and 1x tactical, just to maintain 110 in hitting hardness)
1x cross-country

I usualy play 2 tournaments and then I have a one-day break.

You're playing too many games and not resting enough!

Hitting precision is based on tactical training. I don't really play anymore but I used something like:

3 x hitting
3 x tactical
3 x coordination

Andrei please correct me if any of the above is wrong!
