And what would be the consequence of straying from his plans?
Their seasons would get f-ed up and they would then decide to reset to rookie after watching everything go down in flames.
Happened a few times :D

Continually hearing all this balls about Jaguar this and Jaguar that. Its so boring. You dont hear other top teams coming out saying how great they are.
Its so boring hearing about Jaguar now. You will never be as good as you once were. Leo is not replaceable. That is evident and I dont even know him.
So in 2 seasons or so. You lost Leo, Webster both not replaceable. You lost Lee who you say is a great player. Then you allowed Keri slip through your net one way or another.
A team with the history of Jaguar should be keeping a hold of these players to get anywhere near the title surely?
On top of all that above you gained Luke. I dont see any wins?

Er sit back down son :D
I am twice the manager Mark is. I demand to be included in the same breath as Leo.

Michael, how do you know we haven't already replaced Leo internally? The void will always be filled, that's the beauty of Jaguar, we all share and learn from our ideas/philosophies, so we are not completely dependant on each other. Leo/Lee/Mark may have left but the rest of us are still around to share the knowledge.

So we've established that Leo is a very smart and accomplished manager, not that that was ever in doubt, but also, if you stray from his plans then you fail with the inevitable consequence of either being ejected, or reseting in order to follow his plans more closely. Sounds like a dictator to me, but meh, I don't like being told what to do, preferring instead to have fun playing the game regardless of my results.
The world would be a boring place if we all followed Leo's plans.

You don't have to follow his advice, he doesn't mind either way. I didn't follow his advice and i ended up back here in rookie. :P

i can't listen to this bullshit anymore. You have never been part of this team and you never will, you have never been Leo's teammate and you still disrespect him in the forums and you have no idea what he's like. You say he's a dictator. How lame!!!!! Does dictatorship include giving valuable advices to all people within the team and allowing them to make their own decisions? Don't think so. So please talk about something you can actually backup instead of stabbing at different people on forums.

I didn't actually need you to remind me, i was actually making a passive suggestion that what you read here isn't 'always' 100% fact.

Winkley, some teams needs a dictator. I was a dictator in my team and when V was founded the team was a bunch of newbies from the worst ones even. Only me know how much I used to get tired because of teaching them and everyone of them after joined V ,there is a mass improvement in their career since the season they became a V. Sometimes, I used to leave behind my own career. Being a dictator is nothing bad, for some teams is the best.

Fact is, the "spiritual" team leader (Mark) left because the team had become something that he hadn't wanted it to become, with the ostensible reason being Leo's forceful posting style and imposing opinions.
Question is, if not a dictatorship, what had Jaguar become?

How many mass exodus' did your team experience along the way? I counted two whilst quickly browsing your team history.

I thought it was pretty clear Mark left because the site of my face filled him with feelings that he couldn't control. Seriously, can you imagine seeing my awesome face everyday and not being overwhelmed?
And I apologize for posting in a thread that you might read Mark. Just scroll down so you can't see my face :)

We have always been a democracy, whilst i have been in the team anyway.

Well, to get the complete story, you have to visit the Jaguar forum.
At multiple times during the seasons gone by, Leo used to give all the "newbies" (relatively speaking) constant advice on how to proceed with their seasons/drivers/finances etc, with detailed information about exactly where the pitfalls would be. I think Leo actually put more effort into the career plans of the other managers (combined) than he put into his own, and that says something about the man.
isn,t that on all team forums i def know it is on ours and i do not consider us a great team until season 27 :)

I have to say, there are only 3-4 teams out there which wouldn't be be better with Luke in it than they are now. He is a great team player.
But, I guess, it's their loss and our gain that he's with us instead of them right now so I am not really unhappy at what happened!
Now where is that PM I got last week, that should wrap this story up quite nicely...
I hate BS.

Maybe the so called great teams should do less talking about it and prove it with consistent top 5 finishes, or maybe a team championship? Until they do they are simply teams. Yes - they may have the potential to be great, but until they realise that potential they are not worthy of being called great.

I’m going at this using BELBIN Analysis.
I don’t like the word “dictator”, I prefer Shaper. It’s a very effective style of leadership that both Leo and I employ. In short, it’s a style of leadership where you make your teammates believe that what the yare doing will help the team, and that every meticulous detail is covered for. It’s very Jose Mourinho-esque, and you can either go the way I do, which is hands-on, and make everyone feel they are important to you at the team by building confidence; or you can go the way Leo does, which is a much more professional, hands-off approach that relies on the respect and each individuals’ self-worth between team mates bonding the team together. However, like Plants, having more than 1 in a team can cause problems and the stronger personality will win through which in this case is Leo. So whereas I was both Shaper and Plant in the early seasons of Jaguar, Leo auto-assumed the Shaper role and I was left to do my thing as the typical anti-authority, massively egotistical plant that hates being wrong or being controlled.

Im just curious why so many Jaguar members past and present are kicking about in this team discussion lately. You surely have a team forum?
What does it matter what anyone else thinks. Its results that count and your results havnt been great. So now you have lost Lee and Leo why not get your heads down and get back on it.
None of us knows what goes on in Jaguar and im sure its like the other 200+ established teams. However seeing you all come on here and talk about how great your team is currently and how good its going to be is a little embarrassing. Esp when you bite at every comment going.
Why not go back to your team forum and concentrate on bringing in the right people and finding a way back inside the top 10.
Good luck

I think the reason they are in this thread alot is because most of the Jaguar members past and present are very active on the forums anyway. Plus most of them have alot to say about themselves and other people.
