Nottingham was mooted - but we can make a final decision on that once we know who is 100% interested. I for one will go wherever :)

Not booked out in the band, as we were supposed to be playing at Lindos Rocks, on Rhodes, however, cancelled now obviously :(

Jot my name down with a pencil. Not travelling to the UK specifically just for you lot obviously, but if i can combine it with a long overdue trip to see friends up near Chesterfield, i'd be damn close already :)

Yes you definitely would Miel - you could do what Kai is planning to do and just come drinking on one night, if you didn't want to come to every day (though clearly that's fine too, if you wanted to!).

Jun Ho Jonathan Beagles Keri Lovell James Hitchen (maybe) Chew Kai Wen (Sat only) Mick Ridley (maybe) Miel Soeterbroek (maybe)
Currently bound for Nottingham on 18th - 20th June 2021.
If anyone else is interested, let us know! :)

Hello. The group has decided on Nottingham for our unofficial GPRO Meeting between Friday 18th June - Sunday 20th June 2021. We have a 5 bedroom apartment above a pub currently booked and is costed at £72 for both nights. It will cost around £100 for karting, drinks and food for the weekend (extimate), so it will be a fun and cheap weekend! We currently have one free room (double room) and so if anyone is interested, feel free to contact either me, @Jonathan Beagles (P20) or @Keri Lovell (R5) for more info! :)

The price for the room is only if we can find 6 people. There are only 5 bedrooms too, so someone has to share. :D

Which pub? and where are you planning the karting? In a previous life I regularly was on the piss in Nottingham!

No idea which pub lol (ask JB for that :D), and we were looking at Nottingham Raceway for karting. £270 for a 12 lap quali and 40 lap race. :)
Come down David? :D

Jun, that price is divided by 5 I believe, it's cheaper if 6 come?

Be great to meet you David!

Yup, it's 270 for the whole track regardless of how many come I believe.

A bit off topic: just had a look at the website of Nottingham Raceway - why the hell do they all think they have to cheat with the track length?!? If it would be really 750 meters as they claim and the lap record is at 30.37 secs, the average speed would be at over 90 km/h :-D
And Google Maps says something about 360 meters which would make a lot more sense.

Golden fleece is where we're staying - once the host confirms :)

I'd love to come and join you all, but it's a bit too far for me (just over 300 miles). :(

Appreciate being asked, but got plans one of the days and can't guarantee the time off on the others just now :/ Have a great time, guys. One day, I'll make one.

Anyone is welcome to attend the meetings Darragh - you just have to get yourself there and find somewhere to stay/budget enough to take part in the various activities :)

Plan for the 2021 UK meeting in Nottingham on 18th-20th June is as follows:
Friday 18th
Arrive at the house at around 3pm (earliest we can get in) and then have a relaxed evening* with takeaway, watching the GPRO race, playing Nintendo Switch and the England v Scotland game.
*If there's enough interest, we could go bowling also.
Saturday 19th
Go-Karting in the afternoon, going out in the evening for a meal at Annie's Burger Shack and then a night out of drinking etc.
Sunday 20th
Having lunch and watching the F1 at the Three Crowns Pub in Nottingham, before leaving.
--------------------------------------
Anyone is welcome to attend any/all parts of the meeting. We even have spaces in the accommodation if anyone wants to stay for one/more nights - we can work out payments etc. for that if you drop Jun or I a PM to discuss.

Organised by officially the Top 2 Silly/Forum Games Hosts (according to the most recent GPRO Oscars) - what more could anyone want lol? :)
