Guys, you went too far, go back on topic to only make a suggestion or to respond other's suggestions here please.

Agreed and I apologize for my part in it.

But it actually epitomizes the issue, not having the ability to ignore specific users. ;)

Topic back online.

A reminder to stay on topic. This is a general suggestions topic and expected to host minor suggestions. If the suggestion brings a debate, then move the discussion to an appropriate topic, or start a new one if there isn't any; as it's a clear sign the suggestion deserves a topic of its own.

Also, off topic comments are discouraged. Of course a harmless joke once in a while (specially if related to the matter) is welcome, but if it deviates the discussion or adds nothing to it, then it does not belong to Suggestion Forum, but to Off Topic forum.

Since we can now see Staff Overall on individuals profiles perhaps we could browse a whole group at once? Instead of having to click into every profile, would be nice if possible and easy to implement

possibly a few older track configs? Silverstone, Hockenheim, can we even get the bonus track from f1 97?

or umm...a progress update on the new engine? ( yes this might get folks mad but i am genuinely curious on progress)

On the new manager profiles, where it has links to the Track performance statistics and Racing résumé, I spy a little unused space... can we maybe have a link there to the current qualifying standings for that manager's group?

I don't blame Jukka for withdrawing. The way people got on his case was ridiculous.

He had to explain and even argue with community members who don't know diddilee-squat about the workings of the game.

You know.... WHO you are.... and now you can see, your eagerness to find fault, pushing your 'better' ideas and making it very hard for him in the forum. It caused him a lot discomfort and disillusionment in his attempt to make the game better.

I mean, all that effort and work he put in and others want to spit on it. Kind of takes the wind out the sails, I would think.

So.. Thank you or maybe it should be 'Thanks... to you... '

Only a very few managers can do... what Jukka knew. Sometimes, managers are bone heads in these forums. (me included)

I hope Jukka stays on playing and beats the snot out of all of you, spits.

Thats the really sad thing. Being able to have an online persona seems to behave like a fullmoon of horrors bringing out the trolls in people you dont actually see from them in real life.

Fully agree with MG, Roy and Graham's sentiments. Jukka was not only a very clever man, but also someone who had the interest of the game at heart. The post he made about his personal frustrations I found very striking. His open-ness and eagerness to connect with the community - which I thought was fantastic that he went (quite far) out of his way to explain and reply to people - got the better of him in the end it seems. Sadly, the game is going to be worse off without him, that's for sure. And that's no disrespect at all to the remaining members of the crew.

I'm unfamiliar about the specifics of the situation that derived in Jukka's retirement. However, whereas I miss his very important participation both as a player and as a crew member and I'd love to see him back, I don't think objections to some specific game stuff should be avoided. In fact, I can remember several game changes which were produced thanks to ideas produced by many managers whose intention was to improve the game.

Where did this new information come from, that Jukka left because of trolls? All I could read is that he had way more important issues, outside of GPRO. It is not up to any of us to speculate about his reasons, and it is even less up to any of us to rant at others based on those unfounded speculations.

Predrag.. don't let the down thumbs worry you. People are not in agrrement with your suggestion, that's all.

I have not seen anything that explained his retreating from the game. REAL life takes precedent, obviously, I may have missed that.

Very true. I was speculating however, I would have left the game too, if people kept at me, to agree with information that was incorrect or not public, in the manner that Jukka was subjected to.

It was more of an observation of forum behaviour, which is more and more irritating... TO ME.

I love to interact with other players and even build a 'friendship' or mutual sense of humour etc. You guys know me and what I mean, right?

It's been a bad week for me, after acting aggressively to another manager in a forum, I got a warning. That too, was for another observation of forum etiquette that is 'rude and behaviour that is 'bullying'

On Topic: Suggestion....

Perhaps, if more of these types of posts were made, administration could take steps to curb the practice?

PLEASE, DO NOT identify individual managers in your posts. This is not a head hunting process.

Instead of ignoring IT.... point out the behaviour.

Since the manager profile update we can now see the Staff overall of everyone.

Would be nice to see that at once for the group you're in...
For example, in "Money and car levels" there's plenty of room for this! ;-)

This game is so hard I finally came up with a suggestion to change that.

How about a 0.25 Euro credit to peek at the driver attributes. That would even up the field and help managers like me. :(
