Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day;
Show him how to catch fish and he'll spend the rest of his life sat on a river bank drinking beer and getting pissed!

Depending on which gospel you choose, 4000 to 5000 people trek for 3 days across an arid landscape with no food just so one man can perform a miracle and feed them for free.
Idleness on a Biblical scale!

This is just between me and you, right, but that Gordon Ashford, he's a clever chap, right. Anyways he tells me that if a certain someone, (thats you), were to send him an application, right, that maybe, just maybe he'd pass it on to me for consideration for membership. Who knows where that might lead,....right?

What can we offer you?

- high levels of game and forum activity and even higher levels of enthusiasm
- work ethic; we're focused on one goal and that's to become the best, we wouldn't be here otherwise. We must work hard to achieve this, and we are and will continue to
- support; if you're struggling with something, you can ask the question that is usually answered within the hour (time dependent :)
- divergent thinking; it's not all about what you know, it's about how you apply yourself to the task. Understanding this, we will continue moving forward
- most of the game knowledge is at our fingertips; fuel, tyres, part wear, setup, and in-depth planning for finances, drivers, and general seasons
- friendliness & fun; what good is a group of people who don't have fun with each other? We're always having fun while we move forward!
- FOBY; we do help each other, but we stand alone in the very difficult situations as it's no fun having someone do things For you!
- loyalty! We are all committed to Combustible Elements and plan to stay for as long as our lives allow us to

What do we expect from you?

- first and foremost, all of what's mentioned above or the ability to learn some of those traits
- a basic understanding of the English language
- an entertaining and funny application (you must apply via message to be considered)
- game and forum activity
- friendliness; it is the most important thing. Be a part of the team conversations on our forum, keep things flowing like a well oiled machine....don't be a boring team mate ;)

If you are interested, send me an application via message.
State why you want to apply to us, a bit about yourself, what qualities you can bring to the team, your back ground in GPRO and more importantly prove your worthiness by telling a good joke in your application!

Looking forward to hearing from you and perhaps sharing this great little community with you soon after! :)

Ladies, gentlemen, invertebrates and Frogs
There is still one great news for you. You have chance to join in one of best teams all the time.

If you want to join us, you need to know some things..

A few important rules:

** Please do not apply without writing a proper application that introduces yourself. Otherwise, it will automatically get rejected. If you don't tell us who you are and for what you are fighting for, we can't know is your place in our team.
** Please send all your applications to our community manager...dont confuse him with Flo..our manager is Gordon Ashford Me!
** Please fill in the pm subject field appropriately (i.e Application)
** You will probably never receive a reply from me which will confirm that Your application has been submitted for evaluation.

What we definitely want from you:

** +18 years old
** Ability to write in Cuneiform, if its possible better than me :P
** Raced at least 3400 races.
** Posting on GPRO forums (No need to be a spammer) :]

What we really like :

** A friendly, motivated, talkative and active person.
** Being a supporter.
** Enthusiasm to learn first and then to teach later.
** Be ready to make us a coffee every morning...Other teammates don't like mine and they search better coffee maker...

Also noteworthy that we do not evaluate people depending on their success in GPRO, this is a long term commitment and what we are really looking for a good team player and a friend, so everyone has a chance regardless of group/level you're currently at.

So... let the application drafting begin, Gordon is up and ready to read them all :) Our deadline is still till we find our soulmate.

So I am the newest addition to CE and I can say that i feel really comfortable here.
Everyone is nice and active. We treat each other with a certain amount of respect and we help each other on the forums. Mistakes are tolerated and serve the purpose to gather data, as long you dont make them twice.
But the best thing is, that everyone has a very nice attitude and is very funny :D
We have alot of skype conversations with very funny topics :P.

I can only encourage you to apply for Combustible Elements, if you like a funny atmosphere and want to achieve something bigger in GPRO.
Just PN Luke and I hope we will see each other in Skype or in the forum (:

See, that's why you should apply to join Combustible Elements...That Luke bloke is a good egg and I'm sure he will look after you.

You could apply join my team, although you have a 0.05% chance of being accepted. I like rejecting manager applications...(makes me feel all powerful like). Go on make my day.

Or if you're as idle as me then just don't bother!

Are you....
Struggling to understand gpro?
Unable to work out the finer points of the game?
Finding yourself punching way above you weight in your group?
The whole gpro community pity you?
Struggling with your sexuality?
Have posters of One Direction, Marc Almond and Liza Minelli on your bedroom wall?
Fail to see why some people refer to the wizaed of Oz as "camp"?
Find yourself looking in the bathroom mirror, wondering how God could be so cruel having made you that way?

If you can answer yes to all the above and your name isnt Dougie Marshall then call me :)

How many teams can say they had every manager within their team promoted last season? Not many is my guess. We did! That's how idle we are.

And if I don't accept your application, don't be too disheartened you can always join those Skidmark fellows. I like them, although they are bit too motivated for my liking. They need to relax a bit more.

Be More Idle.

/gb/ManagerProfile.asp?IDM=75456 PM him now! he needs your loving....oh and don't forget to tell him I sent you.

I think its also worth pointing out, we have had to change our team name due to global branding.
