F1 Dream Team is back for 2015 season edition
As the first winter tests are underway, you might be thinking you have an idea who could be the surprise of the year already, if so this game is for you :P
The game is open to everyone, feel free to join at any time during the F1 season.
You are a manager of a team. At the beginning of the season, you get 25.000.000 to build your dream team. It consists of: 2 drivers, a car and an engine. To be allowed to enter the competition, you have to have all 4 components and a name (Only from the list of past and present teams: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Formula_One_constructors )
After every Grand Prix the monetary value of all your team's components will increase or decrease depending on your team's results in the Grand Prix. As well, you are allowed to change 2 components of your team every race weekend. Example: change one driver for another one and change engine supplier to a different one.
Actions don't roll over for the next race (You will get 2 changes before every race weekend no matter what)
After every Grand Prix, you earn an interest rate of 10% for your free cash balance (Lets say before the first race you spend 24 mil on building a team, you will have 1 mill left, so after the first GP, your free balance will increase to 1.1 mil).
Your managed team earns points in every Grand Prix. Points are awarded for performance of all your components (drivers, car, engine) in both qualification and race.
Points awarded in qualification:
1st-10pts
2nd-8pts
3rd-6pts
4th-5pts
5th-4pts
6th-3pts
7th-2pts
8th-1pts
Points awarded for the race classification:
1st-25
2nd-18
3rd-15
4th-12
5th-10
6th-8
7th-6
8th-5
9th-4
10th-3
11th-2
12th-1
Both of your drivers earn 100% of these points above.
Your car earns you 80% of the points above.
Engine earns you 20% of the points above.
Example:
Your team consists of:
Drivers: Nico Osberg, Felipe Massa
Car: Toro Rosso
Engine: Renault
In this case you will earn full points for both Osberg's and Massa's Qualification position and race classification.
plus
80% of the points from both kids driving Toro Rosso Q and race positions.
plus
20% of all Renault powered cars qualification and race positions.
You will also receive a 5pts bonus each weekend you update your team
Winner of the game is decided by all the points earned during the whole season, in an unlikely scenario of a tie, the manager with highest score in any single race wins.
I will do my best to update the values of all components on Monday after F1 Grand Prix. These will be posted on this thread. And will mostly be influenced by previous race results. I will announce starting prices later on.
You have to send me your actions by PM before the start of each Grand Prix's qualification.

Updated value of each component after every F1 race.
Points earned by each team in the previous race as well as current standings.

In case any F1 team changes their driver mid-season, the driver change automatically happens for your team as well. The points earned by a previous driver is transferred to your new driver and the starting value of a new driver is the same as a previous one's.
You can join this game at any point during the course of F1 season but bear in mind that it is easier to win this game if you start before the 1st race of the season.
You can join straight away and pick your team name, but as all the prices are yet to be announced, there isn't that much else to do yet apart of thread bumping by counting to a million :P
